Uff.... So you mean telling what the scientific data says is wrong? Really, Sinhalese are not Tamils. How can they be Tamils? They are both genetically and culturally quite different to Tamils. When I didn't know the existence of the studies I presented, and had only the dubious and discarded study you have embraced, I meant something quite different. ( I'll find that thread/posts, if you want). At that time I really hadn't read the whole study either. I thought what Wikipedia said was true, since they had given a reference too. But then I found out that that was all wrong. If you sit down and read the full study (with all the data) you will see, what a stupid study that is. Telling the actuall case is not being racistic. What people make of these studies and history, is upto them. I am not going to tell any lies to undermine these things. But, my stand is quite evident to all of you - I will do my best to neutralize your seperatist theories, but I won't lie. For me it really doesn't matter whether the Sinhalese are more related to monkeys and look like apes etc (according to your mate from australia), as long as such a thing might help to neutralize your seperatist theories, I'll be happy. You try to find all possiblities to hate. Think the other way, for a change. Afterall, whatever the genetic studies show, the Sinhalese are the closest to the Tamils. By the way I never said ''a Tamil coolie has no right to tell a pure Sinhalese what to do''. This is the way you all distort, lie and exagerate about everything else too. You people have a very funny definition of anti-Tamil and pro-Tamil. As said many times before, this forum is infested with a particular type of Tamils. I have never met Tamils who spit so much hatred towards the Sinhalese. Look at the Sinhalese side here. Harini is not anti-Tamil. Emperor even starts fighting with Harini. If you all stop your Sri Lanka bashing, the other guys will show how nice they are. As long as you go on and on about how to destroy their country and their race, they will react the way they do. Shelling would not have happened if your heros respected the laws of war and not gotten in the No Fire Zones and started firing at our forces. Evacuation of civilians could have started immediately, if not for that. All the countries in the world, including Norway asked the terrorists to lay down your arms and surrender. But instead you kept the civilians hostage. Our govt even gave a couple of humanitarian ceasefires. No Fire means NO FIRING OUT or INN. Maybe your rat brain can't understand it. When one party starts firing out of the zone, then it really ceases to exist and that party is responsible for the loss of human life. Our forces were compelled to answer your firing to gain controll of our territory. Dancing to your tune with silk golves on for 30 odd years didn't give any results. Enough was enough. It is not a crime to crush the terror and violence of a terrorist organisation. I sure hope that the panel take into account that the civilian casualties could have been totally avoided or been extremely little, had the LTTE adhered to the rule of wars and not taken into the No Fire Zones established by the govt. and started firing at our forces and at the same time kept the civilians as hostages, refusing them to leave. No, I am free today. It's saturday. But I'll be most probably working tommorow. Good news for the Tamils, i guess. :) The Island Rat is here to keep himself busy and in a sick way, like the other Tamils, they like to insult the Sinhalese. They get a kick out of it. For the Tamils here, this is the only place they can even have a slight chance to 'talk' to a Sinhalese and throw shit at you guys, so it is a big thing for them. Are u Indian? Some say your Rama got Hanuman to build a bridge. Now, Rama would have been extremely stupid to get a bridge built if Lanka was connected to India, isn't it? As a Sri Lankan, I will strongly oppose to such a bridge, at the present time. It will ruin the little friendship we have left with Tamil Nadu. One day, when the people, specially the ones in Tamil Nadu grow up and mind their own business, we can think about it. A better solution for Sri Lankans is to load off all the problem making Tamils in Tamil Nadu and get our island pushed further away from Tamil Nadu. (Friday Dec 4 | post #46)
