Bachmann, Clark trade shots over ... just about everything

"It's not enough to be loud. You have to work with people on the other side of the aisle to actually find solutions," Clark said. Seriously? She said this with a straight face? Look back at the past two years and tell me who has been the party of NOT reaching across the isle to include the other party. The dems have openly shunned the GOP on every big decision there has been and since the GOP actually grew past the fillibuster proof road block and started to actually force that cross isle debate or consideration the Dems have spared no effort to paint it as the GOP being the party of NO.  (Oct 27, 2010 | post #56)

NPR fires news analyst after remarks about Muslims

Controversial opinions should not come from NPR reporters or news analysts, Schiller said.... Yeah... Doncha know you can ONLY have an opinion that we liberals give you. Oh but dont forget how open minded and educated we are.  (Oct 21, 2010 | post #140)

Competition served us well

Well, well.... Look whos back... To whom are you speaking to specifically? I could easily check the programming that would have been on at the time if I really felt that inclined but even at a guess there simply is not THAT many options seeing as how the "break in" would have been limited to local network garbage due to the content of the breaking news (Hardly a national event). So I shall ask again, what was it that you missed and that has your panties in such a terrible ruffle?.... Enlighten us with your tragic programming loss. Or is it that you just hate the fact that you made a moron of yourself with your poorly chosen basis of arguement that was shredded and exposed for its own level of stupidity? Or are you just upset that sports holds a far higher interest to the public at large than some of your own past-times? Whats your REAL beef here Nancy?  (Sep 23, 2010 | post #13)

And what terribly enlightening and intellectual programming are you speaking of when you complain (in ALL CAPS I might add) that your regular programming was broke into? Were you watching some educational program on Discovery? Wait no, that would be cable. Uhm, maybe PBS? Uhm nope again. News? Or was it something like the mentally stimulating American Idol or Two and a Half Men? VERY important indeed. Talk about dumbing down. Indeed, its quite apparent there is no hope for you either. Welcome to the club Oh enlightened one.  (Sep 22, 2010 | post #6)

Metro Transit workers reject new contract offer

Destroy transit? Like what, by making it try to better sustain itself through actual management? Im ok with some subsidy but how much of your operating expenses are paid by the tax payers and not the service you actually provide? Juuuust curious if you can back up your claim here. And fare increases? What behind the pace of inflation much less actual costs of operation. You have some numbers on that? Part timing? REALLY? thats a flat LIE!! Hmmm...... Are you a bus driver and if so please tell us all about that MASSIVE overtime they just exposed on channel 5 news. You know, how many drivers are actually earning 6 figure salaries after all the OT. How TONS more are over 75 grand..... Whats your complaint again? Maybe someone NEEDS to break that union and start finding managers who will actually operate that place like it had a moral and fiscal obligation to those who fund its existance.  (Sep 20, 2010 | post #3)

Iran to release 1 of 3 jailed Americans

WHere have you been!!?? An eye witness who knows exactly what happened!? Your absolutely sure it was an "accident "? You are aware that they had no idea where they were during their harmless and joyful trek? Why have you waited so long to speak up? Do you have pictures or video as well?  (Sep 9, 2010 | post #26)

So than maybe stop being stupid yourself? Or are you just pretending to be ignorant? The point (I am assuming from the post you are commenting on) is that there stands a double standard as it applies to the label and prosecution of "Hate Crime" status. Namely, there is no such beast as a black on white hate crime. Unless you happen to know of a verifiable instance of such a crime being tried and convicted where the defendant was of color and the victim was white. Do you have such proof? I think its understood that a difference in race alone does not constitute a "hate crime" yet race alone does preclude such a definition in the eyes of some. And I dobelieve that is the actual point that was being made. Just sayin'.  (Sep 3, 2010 | post #34)

Former Hill-Murray School president pleads guilty to inde...

I can see the character flaws associated with his actions from a moral standpoint but again, where does "Criminal " come from? I read the story. Ive read the stories about the other incidents with bathroom stalls and the like and I dont see *criminal* working into the equation. At least not what he was charged with. How is pursuit of a *hook-up* criminal if those whom he hooks with consent and that they do not end up naked or fornicating in public. Thats the part that I see as missing. I think its a slippery slope when we start outing people based on criminal standing and in courts as it relates to what should or ought not be illegal. The complaint against him doesnt state what the officer did in the instance as it relates to the grab. Was it blatent or was the offer inciting the act? I hardly believe that the guy is just grabbiong peoples junk willy nilly. Just a hunch. And as far as posts and comments you simply cannot deny that the bulk of ire hs little to do with the reasoned points you brought up. Most are by far and away biased or tainted opinions based not on the issue or event but rather the guys sexual preference. Just a hunch there.  (Sep 1, 2010 | post #26)

And again... what part is illegal? Going to a park and *meeting* someone? In all these stories I have yet to hear of someone getting nabbed for actually being naked or having sex. Only the *meeting* part. Heck even holding hands, kissing or some grabs or what not. Whats the issue with these types of things except in these cases that the people are gay? You think that heterosexuals dont *meet* in parks? Beaches? Malls and grocery stores? Bars? Gimme a break. So what if a guy pushes his foot slightly under your bathroom stall or if he says hi in a park. Try saying no maybe? Hell women have been doing that to men for ages itn those same places. Its not that hard. As for someone meeting, hanging out, or enjoying another persons company in a park, well uhm... Big effin' deal.  (Sep 1, 2010 | post #17)

And what really did the guy do? Unless I am completely missing something here the story appears to tell about a person who meets another person in the park. They talk and make their way to their car to... what? Leave? I dunno. It stops at the one person touching the other on the "goods" after which he is arrested? Im not following. Did one force himself on the other? Was there implied consent on both sides? Or does this come to a "touch" in public? I mean if thats the case I have ran my hand across my wifes behind in public a time or two. Kissed even.... Is that illegal as well? You are mentioning such a horrific act and disgrace to the school but why? What for? Or is it because the guy is gay? I cant even figure where the charges are coming in on this one. Sounds like it never got past first base and if that is a crime, even in a park setting.... well, wow.  (Sep 1, 2010 | post #14)

Pawlenty urged to take Medicaid cash

Your spam is getting simply obnoxious. Seriously. Do you think your actually accomplishing something by cut and pasting the same tired rants over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over? Maybe inject an honest thought or typed response to a post instead of the cut n' paste? Just an idea. These boards are full of BS as it is but your walls of text are worse than the 10 year olds playground "nah nah na boo boo's" that you more commonly see in here. What was the web site again? Oh yeah; www.spamcrap.com or was that moveon.org? one in the same?  (Aug 31, 2010 | post #106)

Begbugs have become a big problem: easy to spread, hard t...

Be careful to make sure it is in fact a CO2 only unit as most or many have transitioned to dry chemical extinguishers. The dry chemical will only make a HUGE nasty mess! If it is, indeed, a CO2 extiguisher it will have a siphon thus draws liquid and it will wirk.  (Aug 31, 2010 | post #39)

Begbugs have become a big problem: easy to spread, hard t...

Im not sure why it wasnt mentioned in the article but one methiod of controlling or eliminating the buggers is to use CO2 (Carbon Dioxide). Some sites list the use of CO2 "snow" units but I have had success in pest control with the use of 20lb Siphon CO2 cylinders and blow gun style of assemblies. The total package including the rental of the gas and cylinder runs about 60.00 on the very high end. Ive done it for as low as 30.00. Im not an exterminator but I did a lot of property maintenance back in the day. Maybe the CO2 remedy isnt in everyones area of ability but I can attest that it works. -110 degrees has a way of ending the buggers day permenantly and once the item sprayed returns to ambient temp there is no residue and it is completely non-toxic. The only precautions are to make sure that you leave a window open as CO2 will displace oxygen (Just make sure the room has a lil ventalation) and dont get the liquid CO2 on yourself (again, its about -110).  (Aug 31, 2010 | post #16)

Suburbs balk at new bus rules

Notice the key word used? "GIVE" homes in the suburbs. Classic liberal nut job. Heck, giving away homes.... Yeah, where do I sign up for THAT program?!! I imagine that your completely "OK" with your taxes paying for this program that your proposing? Right? Or wait, are you one of those growing percentage of people who dont actually pay taxes due to brackets and exemptions? You know that whole "fair" thing creeping up. Oh no, no, I bet your one IN the inner city who would be first in line for that *free* house thats rightfully OWED to you by the rest of us. Which is it?  (Aug 31, 2010 | post #42)
