Pacers start Western swing with loss

So far everyone is correct in their comments. I have to ask though, You expected different when making a Western swing? Thbe west has out played the east for several years now and it should continue. Boston is looking good but the averages are west over east. As far as the Pacers .... Cut them all lose and start from the top.  (Jan 7, 2008 | post #6)

Demanding practices part of the O'Brien plan

"Indy just slipped below .500 for the first time in three weeks and must sit a better-than-ever Tinsley because of hammy issues. With 10 of the next 14 games on the road, let's see if the Pacers can surprise us yet again." Quoted from ESPN which has the Pacers ranked 16th and 17th. I think the players better listen to O'Brien to reach the playoffs.  (Jan 6, 2008 | post #2)

Is it time for Pacers to start worrying?

It's not time to worry unless you havn't been since the start of the season. Thugs and Bar hoppers don't make it in the NBA. Stars and young tallent does. We have none of the one and little of the other.  (Jan 2, 2008 | post #15)

Pacers lose to Bobcats in overtime

Trade scenarios are fun to play with but not one team in their right mind (or with memebers worth having) would want a bunch of thugs and hootie bar hoppers. JO is the only one worth anything and it ain't much.  (Jan 1, 2008 | post #22)

Pacers lose to Bobcats in overtime

I'll say it again "This team needs to be dismantaled and completely rebuilt. I'd only save Foster due to his effort. Effort we should be able to work with. Start at the GM and wipe it clean and start over.  (Jan 1, 2008 | post #4)

It's close, but it's still loss

Is this why we seem to win more when he's on the bench? If you look the stats over our winning % is higher when he's on the bench than playing. I don't want to keep anyone except Foster.... the designated White boy!  (Dec 30, 2007 | post #12)

Foster doesn't play because he's a white boy and JO don't like him. Foster plays when JO is hurt. This team I say again needs to be dismantled and start over with Foster and build from there.  (Dec 30, 2007 | post #9)

A game over quickly

Until some major player changes are made the Pacers will always be a .500 team and never better. Look at the history of this team. Always a brides maid never a bride. Reggie got them the closest they could get.  (Dec 29, 2007 | post #37)

New look proposed for downtown Greenwood

I am very proud of Greenwood and the surrounding areas. I moved away 23 years ago to provide a better life for my family. After September 11th the Aerospace market went down and jobs became difficult to keep and find. I left Phoenix, Arizona to come home and start my life over. My daughter has graduated from Whiteland High School and my other children who graduated from a Mesa H.S. are jealous of that. I wish now I'd never left and raised my children here. They would have had more respect and manners growing up here than in the rat race of Arizona. Even my children believe they would have turned out better growing up here than there. I love the old buildings at the main intersection downtown. It's the run down houses and other buildings that need replaced. Does Main Street really need widened? Why not make a bypass using one of the other streets with run down dilapidated houses and create more business space? Smaller New buildings designed like the old ones while keeping the charm of a small town. All new buildings will take away the small town charm and make it look like a strip mall Carmelistic snobbish not good enough area like Phoenix.  (Dec 4, 2007 | post #20)

Pacers' defense fails in the clutch

Again I say, we can type and type until our fingers bleed, but if those that need to read this don't nothing is becoming of it. How can we get this stuff printed and posted in the locker room? Who or where do we have to go to get this stuff noticed and utilized by the upper management of the team? If we the little people can agree on how to build and run a team why won't someone try these suggestions? Why can't this data be sent to those that can make the changes? Why won't Topix or IndyStar direct some of the comments towards the front office of the Pacers? These are a few of the questions I need answered.  (Nov 26, 2007 | post #5)

Granger steps into a starring role with Pacers

The Pacers have been a team compiled of decent players without a clear leader on or off the floor. O'Brien is doing a better job at leading them off the floor they now need someone to step up and lead on the floor. Someone with class and brains not "thuganomics ". Haven't you heard better defence makes better offence. The same goes with leadership. When someone steps up to lead this team their game will step up with it. Granger is a little young to be the leader of the team. Tinsley could do it if he keeps his mind on the task at hand. O'Neal is a player that let the game and this team get a way from him. It's a fast paced run and gun game to be on top. Half court games slow down the pace and slow the flow of the game. With his negativity and injuries he should bow out of the game, go west and run a night club.  (Nov 25, 2007 | post #12)

Pacers deter Mavericks' run

O.K. O.K. the Pacers pulled one out against a Western team. I know I predicted a loss by the Pacers and they turned it on and pulled one out of somewhere. Could it be due to JO being on the bench or could it be due to someone on the team reading or hearing about the comments that have been written lately? If we all have ignited something in this team then we should continue to voice our opinions. The season is young and we could turn this around and be contenders. Anyone watch Major League lately?  (Nov 24, 2007 | post #46)

Pacers' O'Neal to sit out tonight's game

I agree with you Bill, (great name by the way) the Pacers and several other teams are loaded with thugs and poor sports. Bring back the class of a Michael Jordan player. Some members of the NBA still act and present themselves with class and professionalism I think you'll agree. This is why I'm a Suns fan. They are a class organization and present themselves in a professional manner.  (Nov 23, 2007 | post #23)

Pacers' O'Neal to sit out tonight's game

I am not Seth nor do I know who you are. I did however graduate from Mooresville High in 1979. If I remind you of Seth he must be a wonderful guy and knows his sports.  (Nov 23, 2007 | post #22)
