'Day Without a Gay'

The truth is the gay community walked into battle with a simple request from the majority. And they were bombarded with scenes from Armagedon to scare people to vote against gays. In the end, how do you repair what has been ripped apart. Gays continue to turn the other cheek and extend a promise of love to all, unconditionally because their choice has been taken away. Those who do have choice, choose not to love and embrace the different, for now. Tables of change are soon on the horizon. Will you choose No Love or Conditional Love.  (Dec 19, 2008 | post #1674)

No, Baker v. Nelson dealt with states rights to decide marriage. SCOUS has declined to hear the case and you know it so why do you falsely repeat that No right to SSM exists. That makes no sense in the states of Mass and Conn. Baker v nelson was a minn case where marriage is only betweeen a man and a woman. Marriage is in the hands of the states. SSM is allowed if the individual state allows it.  (Dec 19, 2008 | post #560)

Homosexuality: Misconceptions in Ministry

FED UP: "THERE'S NO MORAL OR INTELLIGENT REASON FOR SEX EXCEPT FOR PROCREATION PURPOSES ONLY." Marriage is about love. Or that's how we see it now. It used to have to do with property, tribal traditions, karma, etc. But in America, we marry who we love. You are not expected to ever understand love between two people that are not different gendered. Some people are not capable of understanding that, much like some people are not capable of understanding how make great barbeque. "Homosexualit y: Misconceptions in Ministry", misunderstanding of similarities between homosexual and heterosexual relationships. What brings them together? What keeps them together? How does love endure between the two? Why do they desire to be married to each other? How does divorce happen from a love so endearing between two people? All this is relative for us who desire everlasting relationships with the people we love the most. Have a coke and a smile. :)  (Dec 12, 2008 | post #1403)

Gays vow to keep fighting for right to wed

And a man and a woman don't always make a marriage. It takes love to bring them together, a lasting commitment for it to endure. I'm just as capable of having that with another man. I thank God that you are so blessed to marry the man you love. I hope one day to marry the man I love. You're right, it's not the same, but it's lasting beauty comes from the inside. Stay blessed.  (Dec 12, 2008 | post #2727)

So you're saying 57%(most) are not gay? They still make up less than 1 percent of the population. Have a coke and a smile :)  (Dec 12, 2008 | post #90)

The SCOTUS would have to reconsider if a state's law permits SSMs, but since that is not the case presently in Minnesota and California, Matty is correct.  (Dec 12, 2008 | post #539)

Yeah but wouldn't the spoils be better if we were all victors. Only time will bring understanding. Look how long it took for the majoity of Caucasians to actually embrace non-whites as fellow human beings. And it will probably take longer in this case because the origin of homosexuals (nature or nurture) is still being debated. I can accept that, because human beings take a long time to change, much like Mother Earth herself. So until that time, we will marry somewhere else, and to each other we will cherrish being married. But this is our home, we have always shared our home and welcome you, and treat you truthfully, honestly, and brotherly.  (Dec 12, 2008 | post #538)

Actually it's more of a setback, or a pause in progress. Ultimately we will work out our differences and come to embrace our common productive assets to American society. Like you said, have a coke and a smile. :)  (Dec 12, 2008 | post #1399)

Well hopefully we will be closer to the great American Utopia, as we embrace each other in the pursuit of settling our differences.  (Dec 12, 2008 | post #1601)

Gay Marriage Supporters Say 'Gay is the New Black'

If we are all Americans, why must we all struggle to have the SAME RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES? Especially since there is NO HARM being done between us by sharing the same rights, freedoms, and liberties? It has taken a LONG LONG time for Caucasians to EMBRACE non-whites as fellow human beings. I imagine it will take even LONGER for hetrosexuals to embrace homosexuals, although the difference being that HOMOSEXUALS ARE BORN OUT OF HETEROSEXUAL PROCREATION. Oh well, time will tell.  (Dec 12, 2008 | post #4739)
