Police officer accused of kicking teen, to get more training

How he still got hired after failing the course "The Rodney King Experience: Avoiding video recordings while performing your duties" is just amazing. I guess we taxpayers get to foot the bill for him to take it again. May as well have him take the course "The Robe, The Gavel and the Thin Blue Line: Understanding judicial deference to police perjury on the stand" so he doesn't admit to any wrongdoing just because he swears to tell the truth.  (Mar 31, 2008 | post #11)

State marks hiring of 800-plus new child welfare workers

Per capita Indiana now has about 5 times as much child abuse and neglect as it did in 1970. At the same time inflation adjusted spending on CPS/DCS has increased about 6 times. I guess we can look forward to more abuse and neglect of children now. These additional workers may now give more young girls the opportunity to go to the United Methodist Children's Home in Lebanon to get some sexual experience with adults working there.  (Mar 31, 2008 | post #2)

Thorntown man could face $2.6 million fine in violations

P.S. Todd Meyer is a liar, like the sign said. Child Support has never been paid off because it was an illegal order and charge. The charge was dismissed because I threatened to reveal corruption by Judge David and Todd Meyer. Is Meyer saying that he accepts money to drop an invasion of privacy charge. Maybe that had something to do with then Sheriff Brannon commenting about the State's witness saying "[she] is a liar!"  (Mar 15, 2008 | post #15)

Thorntown man could face $2.6 million fine in violations

No one seemed to mind until the sign went up that read "Child Sex Ring - Guess who is involved" and the pentagram was painted on the house. Then town judge Don Vaughn complained about it to Council President Gary Jones who told Marshal Woodard to cite me for it. I was NEVER cited for junk. I was cited for signs and vegetation. Particluarly, all vegetation over 12 inches in height including trees, bushes and flowers. I believe the law concerning people slowing down on a roadway is covered by I.C. 35-43-2-4 obstruction of traffic. Anyone who doesn't like constitutional freedoms should move. I am a Wiccan, go complain about crosses being put up too.  (Mar 15, 2008 | post #14)

Ex-kids' home worker faces sex charges

"If it's true" - Hmmmm. Guess I am just a nut case. Jerry Taylor, after a sexual battery complaint is made against him, abruptly resigns as WEBO asst principal. Then a 15 year old girl, who attended WEBO, gets taken to the Boone County Jail by Thorntown Officer Frank Clark. Judge David issues an order against her making it a violation for her to send information to me. When he learns she is still sending info to me he places a No Contact Order on me making it a violation for me to receive the information. She gets sent to IUMCH. The mother of a Thorntown police officer makes a bogus allegation that I violated that order for which I am charged and jailed but never get to go to trial. Then I get sued by the Town of Thorntown for putting a sign in my window that says "Child Sex Ring - Guess Who's involved". Nope, nothing odd going on here. No young girls being sexually abused in this county by public officials. No reason for Thorntown town attorney Cy Gerde to ask Judge McClure to order me not to use the Access to Public Records Act to seek copies of complaints made against Thorntown Police Officers for stalking. Which she did order and which I have never received the records. Nope nothing at all unusual about ANOTHER GIRL AT IUMCH BEING TOLD NOT TO TALK TO ME, the Director of Boone County Child Advocates.  (Mar 13, 2008 | post #9)

Looking at improving child support rates

Statistics show that not only is there more compliance with child support payment orders but the children are better off emotionally and developmentally when parents have equal custody. Children should not be treated as assets to be bought and sold or divided as the courts do. Money is not support. It even declares that by statute in Indiana. indianasharedparen  (Mar 5, 2008 | post #70)

BMV warns 90,000 that licenses, IDs might be revoked

How stupid to mail these notices out in English. What's wrong with the BMV, don't they realize that all of the street name, construction zone, directional and other information signs are all printed in . . . . oh yeah, English. Well that shouldn't be a reason to stop any illegal immigrants from having access to our roadways and endangering us all just because they're a minority. Let's put up one sign in Spanish; "entrada " and have it lead over a cliff.  (Feb 2, 2008 | post #259)

Indiana Courts, County and Judge sued over public records...

On 02 February 2008 I filed a lawsuit against the Boone County Courts for failing to maintain access to public records. Boone County does not have recording equipment that allows for a copy of the recordings of court proceedings to be made. I am looking for other people who were denied access or would like to try so I can join all counties to this lawsuit who are in violation. I also sued the judge for issuing an order that I cannot use the APRA to seek records from the Town of Thorntown. Complete pleadings and sample request letters are available here. http://www.booneco me.html  (Feb 2, 2008 | post #1)

Bluffton to halt ticketing after judge quits

All you need do is demand a jury trial in "a court of record".  (Jan 21, 2008 | post #30)

Bluffton to halt ticketing after judge quits

In the meantime everyone can demand jury trials for moving violations and ordinance violations, as of right under the Indiana Constitution, and have their cases heard in the Superior Court of the county. Unless that court is too busy in which case they get dismissed. Keep in mind that a county prosecutor MUST prosecute traffic offenses.  (Jan 21, 2008 | post #29)

Child death tests new reporting system

Regardless of what laws, policies or programs are put in place there still needs to be human accountability. Getting the government out of micro-managing families would be a good start.  (Jan 21, 2008 | post #2)

Brizzi: Police weren't told of abuse

Only when the government, through the family courts, is taken out of the BUSINESS of dictating how people live their lives and doing it in secret will protection of children actually occur. In Boone County our advocacy organization has become a de facto reporting agency of child protection because the government run CPS doesn't do the job. In Boone County protection of children is not the mission of our public agencies. It is only lining their own pockets. We have managed to run family law court judge Steve David out of town and now we are working on the next in line. It doesn't take a village(the government) to raise a child it takes two parents. The courts and government agencies need to concentrate on protecting children and not micromanaging peoples lives.  (Dec 12, 2007 | post #564)

Adults have hearing in 3-year-old's death

This is another example of the damaged caused to children by the breakdown of the family structure. Mothers and boyfriends killing their children are becoming commonplace. This is shown by many studies which conclude that boyfriends and step-fathers are having fatherhood thrust upon them when they are unprepared for it. It is time for society, judges and legislators to realize that there is no replacement for having two caring, natural parents raising children. This is not a problem to be remedied by throwing money at it. What's needed is societal change in attitudes that says fathers need to be removed from children's lives and replaced with money. Having children out of wedlock or getting a divorce shows disdain for the well-being of the children.  (Nov 30, 2007 | post #77)

IMPD officer arrested on DUI charge

Well, I guess ten days and loss of the car for a year is the most you could expect someone to give up who TOOK AN OATH TO OBEY EVERY LAW unlike the rest of us whom the laws are forced upon. What is Metro's discipline for mudering a citizen, A one year suspension and loss of the weapon for five years?  (Nov 16, 2007 | post #187)
