doesn't count, drinking and driving isn't street legal either. Probably won't be back in rogersville anytime soon, got booted from the test and tune, apparently new ownership is much stricter about roll cages. (Jul 27, 2012 | post #177)
Running ethanol, not race gas, but similar octane and street legal. It's probably maxed out though, not sure why they went with twins on an inline motor, makes more since on a v8, power doesn't come on until 6K. If you made 1200 on pump then 1700+ on race gas sounds about right, that's unheard of around here. I would've gone E85 myself but I don't know where to get it locally. It's like steroids for turbo cars, takes more fuel, creates more exhaust, spools turbo's faster, and is about 114 octane. Going to cherokee tonight, just to give 'easy' another opportunity to not show up. See the rest of you there. (Jul 27, 2012 | post #171)
If your that close why not just come out tomorrow? It's an hour for me and nobody here can make it out tonight. (Jul 27, 2012 | post #164)
They run on the streets, just don't drag. I won't get home for a while yet, 630 is about ad early as I can be ready tonight, prefer to go tomorrow since some others are going, but we can still meet up tonight if you want. When/where do you all meet to head that way? (Jul 27, 2012 | post #162)
That will be unreal. GTR's are known for dominating cars with higher HP just because they are so well balanced and shift so fast. I've only seen one run and we were both in the mid 11's at bristol 2 years back. My car had many add ons and I believe his was basically stock. I know of about 5 1000+ rwhp supra's in East TN, most of them don't race, but there is one that compares well to your tt viper. Built by top gun customz and 'the shop' in kingsport. Engine bay is absolutely sick. http://www.comptur bo.com/projects/14 00hpsupra (Jul 27, 2012 | post #157)
Not in the rain, I'll come out if it's dry. Phones about to die, I'll post up when I get off work. (Jul 27, 2012 | post #152)
It's not a Honda. 3500 curb weight plus 220 lb driver. Don't get mad just because you can't brag about how much heavier your car is. Look it up for yourself, designed to run 180+ bone stock on the autobahn and still drive solid. Just ask anyone who's gone to the Texas mile. (Jul 27, 2012 | post #150)
My car is a tank compared to a 68 camaro, you're only proving my point. My car is 3700 lbs on the track, even 60's camaros are barely over 3000 lbs curb weight. I could burn the tires off and still run mid 6's if my car that light. (Jul 27, 2012 | post #147)
Definitely tomorrow, have a raincheck to cash in. Calling for rain tonight though. Driving back last week on et streets in the rain was ridiculous, back end was sliding all the way home. I may come out and play locally tonight. Have to admit, it didn't take as long to get there as I remembered. (Jul 27, 2012 | post #145)
I've heard of you before. Just curious,What's the TT viper or Supra make with regular pump gas? (Jul 27, 2012 | post #140)
You keep thinking its a 7 second car. Fine by me, just proves you weren't at Rogersville after all, if you were then you saw me run and went crying to mommy and daddy to borrow their car and raise your allowance. You kids aren't wasting any more of my time. bye bye. (Jul 24, 2012 | post #97)
There's enough info about my car on here already. I ran beside a newer camaro that pulled he front wheels on the launch. If you were there did you see the new staging lights? (Jul 23, 2012 | post #94)
