Boy injured on escalator, parents blame Crocs

Crocks are dangerous for a small kid, and it's the parents responsibilty to keep an eye on their kids, but one kind of shoe that should be banned are "Heeleys " (the shoe with the wheel at the heel) I have seen numerous accidents and injurys involving these shoes. These kids do not pay attention and can/will skate into someone, fall and twist their ankle, even break it. I have also seen an 8 year old who was shopping with his mother and fell foward on the customer service counter and hit his face so hard, he broke his nose. I know, because I was one who helped him by holding his head and nose while the paramedics got there. Another thing I was thinking about, Heeleys promote obesity, you see these kids skating around instead of walking or getting enough excersise... You know, think about it, it's true.  (Sep 3, 2007 | post #16)

13 stores ticketed in underage liquor sting

I just have to thank you for those words, as I agree with you 100% The judicial system really needs a swift kick in the shorts (or whatever they have on) to help them realize they need to make stiffer punishments.  (Sep 2, 2007 | post #30)

King Soopers pulls potato salad off shelves

Well it just seemed like the polite thing to say at the time, you know you can put what you really want to say.  (Sep 2, 2007 | post #10)

$250 that's all?!? I think if convicted they should loose their licence. Parents/adults go to jail for giving alcohol to minors.  (Sep 1, 2007 | post #1)

Truckers must start carrying chains starting Saturday

I am not implying that it is always the trucker's fault..but there are so many times that it was..When you are coming down from the mountains and it is showing and/or icy it is very hard for a normal vehicle to stop much less an 18 wheeler, and you have to also worry about them jack knifing as well.. I am merely saying that I think that it is a very good idea for them 2 be required to carry chains..any vehicle that travels into the mountains during winter months. Hey, I even carry chains in my van.. Sorry if I offended you in any way..that was not my intend..  (Sep 1, 2007 | post #20)

Truckers must start carrying chains starting Saturday

It's a good idea that they're cracking down on these truckers, however, I think it should be required in Colorado (or anywhere there is a steep terain) to carry chains year round, because you never know what the weather or roads are going to be like. I go to the mountians quite a lot, and see accidents involving trucks all the time.  (Sep 1, 2007 | post #16)

93-year-old charged with drug dealing

If Medicare gave these people decent funds, they wouldn't have to turn to dealing drugs to supplement their income, and over half of the seniors have little or no retirement money. What is it this month, food or medication? I say leave this man alone.  (Aug 26, 2007 | post #26)

Jessica Lunsford killer sentenced to die

That sentence is too good for him, I say he should get the same torture Jessica received. As the saying goes, an eye for an eye. It would sure save a lot of taxpayer's hard earned money.  (Aug 24, 2007 | post #16)

Arapahoe County DA tests sex offender Web site

Please forgive me, I posted the wrong site. It's FAMILYWATCHDOG.US When you go to it, there should be a bulldog on the top left-hand corner. I hope this clears up any problems, and yes, this one is free.  (Aug 24, 2007 | post #10)

Arapahoe County DA tests sex offender Web site

I was watching this on the news and it got me shaking my head because I got one of those news letters. I live in Unincorperated Arapahoe County. One website you can go to that does not charge you is FAMILYWATCHDOG.COM you can look up your own address and see if there are any offenders living in or around your neighborhood. One good thing about this site is you can actually see their pictures. I hope this will be usefull for some of you.  (Aug 23, 2007 | post #2)
