I'm not trying to say that these guys that did this are not responsible for what they did, but the book was a fictionalized account of all their personality's. Even some of their actions are not accurately protrayed as how things really happened in real life. I would say they were all portayed a lot worse in the book then they were in real life and in the movie they were all portrated a lot better then they were in real life.
