Obama loses to the american people

"For more than 200 years, the federal courts have unanimously determined that the Second Amendment concerns only the arming of the people in service to an organized state Militia:" I forgot to point out that the American Revolution truly became active warfare when the British were marching to confiscate the "rebels" guns.  (Apr 22, 2013 | post #17)

Obama loses to the american people

"For more than 200 years, the federal courts have unanimously determined that the Second Amendment concerns only the arming of the people in service to an organized state Militia:" Thank God he's gone. He's saying that the 2nd Amendment isn't for individual rights? You have to be in a state (gov't approved) approved militia to be legally armed? Yet every other Amendment boils down to our guaranteed individual rights...don't they? What a crock!!  (Apr 22, 2013 | post #16)

Princeton needs an ordinance

I'm from Florida & moved here 2 years ago. I'm telling you I watched it happen down there. "Not too strict" ordinances kept getting stricter. It's a slippery slope when the gov't starts telling folks what to do with their private property.  (Apr 22, 2013 | post #6)

Peking House

Been there 15-20 times for their buffet & I've never had a problem. The best Chinese food in the area.  (Apr 22, 2013 | post #13)

Tampa Pharmacies that have Oxycodone 30's....

When is the shortage going to end? Lol, there's no answer to that one. Think about it though. This is a national forum yet this subject is dominated by FL. People in other states have very little trouble getting theirs filled. It's the "shoppers " & the "hillbilly pipeline" to KY & along the east coast that's hurting us. Anyway, always try Walmart & supermarket pharmacies first. They order it but their orders are rarely filled (they don't offer the distributor more $$). I've developed a relationship with 2 "mom & pops" & I give them ALL of my scripts, both narcotic & non-narcotic. For the last 3 months, I've watched them answer no less than 15 phones calls while I wait & they always say no they don't have it. I also see the 18-25 year old "kids" hop through the door & get told no also. People in pain rarely walk with a bounce in their walk with a smile on their face. OK, back to the shortage question. It's already getting better from what I can tell. Develop a relationship with 2 pharmacies, & be willing to wait a day or 2 for it to come in. If that doesn't work, take ALL of your scripts with you & go hunting in person, not on the phone. BTW, even Lambright,s prices have dropped drastically. That's proof enough to me it's getting better.  (Apr 25, 2009 | post #38)

oxycodone shortage?

Sorry "Informed Source", but I agree with the opinion that people coming here from other states need to stop because it's already hurting us here in FL. The KY. Lieutenant Governor just testified in front of the FL House of Reps that Floridas lack of a prescription tracking program is hurting & killing people in KENTUCKY! I'd love it if the Pain Clinic Dr's started requiring some kind of proof of residency. One other thing while I'm here. I've always been curious why this situation is called a "South Florida" problem. Well now I know why. According to the DEA, Broward county leads the way in Oxycodone pill scripts. Broward Dr's prescribed 6.5 million Oxy pills in the last quarter of 2008. The article didn't give any other details  (Apr 20, 2009 | post #533)

Tampa Pharmacies that have Oxycodone 30's....

Dinky, you are more than welcome. I'm not sure how I helped (Placerville, CA ?) but I'm glad you feel better. I've collected info on some more pharmacies that seem to have the 15's & 30's more often than others. The going price is $3. & that's it! If you pay more, maybe it's because you didn't keep looking. Anyway, this idea & thread was intended to ease the search & maybe help keep the prices more reasonable. Anyway, it didn't work, except for Dinky. LOL, I just realized I was kinda trying to form a union to "fight back" a little. Oh well, it just hasn't really worked.  (Apr 13, 2009 | post #27)

Patrick Swayze

Patrick Swayze s Illness and Continued Smoking Presents A...

PROUDREDNECK wrote THAT?? Bet he wouldn't get a Big Mac from Mickey D's after he stepped on the BMI scale in front of the cash register, lol.  (Apr 2, 2009 | post #517)

Patrick Swayze

Patrick Swayze s Illness and Continued Smoking Presents A...

It won't happen during my generation (born 1963), nor will it happen anytime soon, But, when smokers are practically gone, WHAT WILL THE DOCTORS & "KNOW IT ALLS" LIKE THE LADY WHO WROTE THIS HEARTLESS ARTICLE GOING TO BLAME?? Right now, smoking (including second hand smoke) are blamed for so many of societies illness', it's beyond ridiculous. If I was a gambling man, I'd say that FAT PEOPLE are the next villains. They'll install very narrow doors and scales at all McDonalds registers, scales at grocery stores for certain foods etc. After all, obesity costs all of us money when the fat person can't cover all of their hospital bills, right? So in turn, fat people will be taxed more than thin people, right? After all, it's only fair. Then this witches article would be about someone like Swayze who's fat, has severe heart disease, and he won't stop eating!! Then she'd say it hurts his wife because she eats the same poor diet that he does! Good God, our world is truly going insane. LOL, I guess I was a little rude on this one...sorry (not!).  (Apr 1, 2009 | post #466)

oxycodone shortage?

Doubting the age of the person I mentioned was irrelevant because they weren't seeking this med. I turned it into a metaphor to see how far you'd go & your answer was righteous, & one I agree with. That "240" sure is some kind of mystical #, isn't it? Also, speaking of age, I smile every time I see the sign at my Doc's office telling people that no one under 26 will be treated. Who knows? If I have enough trouble finding it one day, perhaps I'll email you.  (Apr 1, 2009 | post #447)

oxycodone shortage?

Sorry for the delay in responding. I've seen them charge $3. up to $5. I personally believe that any price over $2. is a rip-off but that's a personal opinion.  (Apr 1, 2009 | post #446)

Tampa Pharmacies that have Oxycodone 30's....

This is why I started this thread! I've seen 3 (?) other Tampa Pharmacies mentioned on here. The one who said Lambright is a ripoff..? I said they're expensive. Rip-off to me is all that charge over $2,00 right now, but that's a personal opinion. Thanks for the input on the other pharms, & I hope people keep it going. If you know of a Pharmacy in Tampa that regularly has them in stock, please put it in here, & the price if you know it's accurate. I've seen Lambright sell for $3 up to $5.  (Apr 1, 2009 | post #25)
