Is this the place that was in an old house perched on a corner? If so, there was probably no overhead there... Enticed to move....to a new location so some developer could 'fill' a space? If that's what happened, I feel sorry for them. They bit off a bit more than they were going to be able to chew. (but didn't know that at the time) Cut the guy some slack....he knows he owes the money. I suggest the owner put out a 'taxes due' jar next to the register and hire a good accountant/bookkee per who will pay the bills before the owner gets paid. (6 hrs ago | post #61)

Combining cable service not so easy
Did Publix build the parking lot? I think not. Go after the developer. That said....my local Publix is great. Their customer service is amazing. My 85 year old mother left her shopping list at home once, and the assistant manager drover her home to get it. (needless to say I don't let her go shopping alone anymore) Service doesn't get much better than that. 2 thumbs up for the Publix in Dr. Phillips on Sand Lake Road. (10 hrs ago | post #5)
