Tom Powers: Less-than-best Adrian Peterson left Vikings wanting

In my opinion it was a mistake to take Brown over Peterson, and we thank the Cards for passing on Peterson. Only reason Peterson dropped was because he had injury issues with the shoulder, and he's held up well. Brown has been steady, but he's no Peterson, which many think the best back in the NFL. AD has had a couple bad games lately, but he'll bounce back, just need to find some ways to open some running room for him. I'll trade you coach for coach any day though.  (Tuesday | post #97)

Tom Powers: Less-than-best Adrian Peterson left Vikings wanting

We lost to a really good team last night. From reading some of the posts, you have thought we lost to the raiders at home. Are pencil down class and deek the only logical fans out there. Go read the Steelers posts, they have something legit to complain about, but we are 10-2 and still have a comfortable lead in the division. Go ravens!  (Monday Dec 7 | post #74)

Favre throws 3 TDs as Vikings pound Bears, 36-10

It's really easy to see thru your posts. Even those from another country usually have perfect penmanship but struggle with the aspect of speaking the language. You on the other hand are writing your posts like you think someone from Asia would, so rather transparent. My guess is your some 14-16 year old white kid that speaks only one language with too much time on your hands...  (Wednesday Dec 2 | post #154)

Favre throws 3 TDs as Vikings pound Bears, 36-10

Yes, and I think it showed on Monday. No Richard Seymore or those stud LB's you had for years, young in the secondary, etc. With Brady at QB, anything can happen, but it looks like it could be another year for your Patriots. Also does Randy Moss seem like he's lost either a step or some motivation? Being in the midwest, I only catch the national televised Pats games, but he just didn't seem the same as I remember.  (Wednesday Dec 2 | post #153)

Wow, never thought I'd see an "aint" fan talking trash. Guess I'll take the funny wig and stupid hat over a brown paper bag with eyes cut out. Congratulations on making your way out of decades of mediocrity, but the NE Patriots are not the team they once were. IF we play in the post season you just might find out our defense and offense is quite a bit better than your last opponent.  (Tuesday Dec 1 | post #138)

Minnesota Vikings dominating Pro Bowl voting by fans

I guess it's nice to get player recognition for the pro bowl, but we've had a bunch of pro bowlers before, so let's just hope this bunch can make the bowl that counts.  (Tuesday Dec 1 | post #3)

You are right..Packers are irrelevant and should not be mentioned in any forum, but there are still many dillusional Packer fans that think their team is better.  (Monday Nov 30 | post #116)

Ex- Minnesota Viking Erasmus James pleads not guilty to charges...

Good point. Wonder where those deadskin fans are that were posting after the trade about how they would make James into a star. I'll give Chilly some credit here, he took two first round busts drafted by the previous staff in Troy Williamson and James and at least got something out of it instead of out right releasing, and his drafts and free agents aquisitions have been solid for the most part.  (Thursday Nov 12 | post #11)

Time might be right to see more Percy Harvin in Vikings' offense

Quote- "We've thrown a lot at him and we just want to make sure that we're getting as much out of him as he can give us, and not too much," Childress said. Unquote OK, I'll buy that Chilly, but then why are you talking about him returning punts when Reynald is doing a good job. Kick returning, where you get the first 10-20 yards before contact is a lot different than punt returns where you can get leveled right after the catch. Harvin has great ability to see **** and accelerate thru it which suits him perfectly as a kick returner, but punt returns are making someone miss and I would sure hate to see him get injured as an experiment.  (Thursday Nov 12 | post #19)

Ex- Minnesota Viking Erasmus James pleads not guilty to charges...

Deimitruis Underwood and Erasmus James among other first round DE busts makes the trade for Jared Allen for a #1 and two #3's look like a steal. I'll take the proven player over potential any day.  (Thursday Nov 12 | post #8)

I think he's too valuable as a WR to risk injury as a punt AND kickoff returner.  (Nov 2, 2009 | post #8)
