Shortage??? What shortage! Take a look at the large number of trees left over after the 25th and tell me that we have a shortage! P.S. Better start keeping things nice here or face getting a message from Constant Reader a.k.a. the web boss telling you to do so. A couple of you are close to that line which keeps on moving depending upon whether ot not CR likes what you have to say or what your party affiliation happens to be. ho dee ho, ho, ho and all that jazz! If we're both still around in '08 and are able to make it happen, so mote it be. (Nov 16, 2007 | post #9)
For Chrissakes! To listen to the media types, esp CNN, one would get the idea that there were only three candidates who participated in last night's "debate" in Viagrassville. Hillery, Obamma and little Johnnie Edwards. Noone mentiones Richards or Kussinische (the gnome) or my favorite, Joe (F.U.) Biden. Of all those who had anything to say, Mr. B, imho, did the best with his answers. But no! According to "THE MEDIA" only Hillereeeee and Barakkkk and Little Johnnie were the only ones there. Wake up America! They weren't! Come primary day, I know who I'm voting for and although some may say it won't matter, to me it will. (Nov 16, 2007 | post #1)
JURY DUTY SCAM: This has been verified by the FBI (their link is also included below). Please pass this on to everyone in your email address book. It is spreading fast so be prepared should you get this call. Most of us take those summons for jury duty seriously . a new and ominous kind of fraud has surfaced. The caller claims to be a jury coordinator. If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Give out any of this information and bingo, your identity was just stolen. The fraud has been reported so far in 11 states, including Oklahoma , Illinois , and Colorado . This (swindle) is particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully people into giving information by pretending they are with the court system. The FBI and the Federal Court System have issued nationwide alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud. CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF AND SEE Snopes site: says this is real fraud. MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from "www.snopes.c om" claiming to be http://www.snopesc om/crime/fraud/jur yduty.asp FBI site: warns about the fraud. http://www.fbi.gov /page2/june06/jury _scams060206.htm (Nov 16, 2007 | post #1)

Heard someone say on the radio the other day (so it must be true) that speed limit signs are only suggested speed limits and that we are free to ignore them if we want to do so. Does this also mean that stop signs are the same? Must be because from what I;ve seen, noone ever actually stops for any of them and if one were to do so, one would probably get rear ended or honked at. Same for no right on red. Only a suggestion? If all of this is true then I now recognize why a few of our more creative drivers in and about Syracuse have taken the initiative to turn left on red as well. Pretty cool when you think about it. These are the same geneous types who, when in the right lane of a four lane road like Erie Blvd, deem it alright to cut ahead of the car to their left and turn left. And these are everyday drivers. You should see how creative some of our finest police officers drive! Down right inspirational! (Oct 11, 2007 | post #1)

Yadayadayada! Next time you see Eliot, be sure to give him a big wet kiss, and not on his lips either! Aree you for real? If so, what the hell are you thinking? Do you really think it ok to give a driver's license to someone who snuck into this country illegally? Who doesn'r pay taxes? Who steals jobs from our own citizens? Bad enough that these dead beats are allowed social security the second their little wet toes come across the rio grande! Now we're supposed to give them drivers licenses? Why don't we give them free medical? No, waite! We already do!!! No body ever gave me a license. I had to pass a written test IN ENGLISH, and then pass a road test! Will these loosers have to do the same? Probably not! Wake up, fool and smell the crap that Spitzer's doling out. The message paid for by 61 years of working mu butt off to earn the right to say it. Got a problem with that? Too bad. It's still America! For a while anyway! (Oct 10, 2007 | post #2)
They wrer sold the same false bill of goods that Bush tried and succeeded in raming down the throats of both houses of congress. Lies based on false propaganda and deceite. Remember the timing and who these young people are. Most of them still wet behind the ears and eager to get back at who they believed was responsible for 911. Too bad that they chose incorrectly. Too bad we didn't put this same force into Afganistan, get Binny and then come home. Sadam was not our problem. He was the Iraq problem. Too bad but that's life. Remember. Tell a lie often enough and it becomes fact. Ask any German old enough to remember what things were like under Hitler. The more things change, the more they remain the same. (Oct 1, 2007 | post #17)
Jason, quite frankly, you are sadly mistaken if you really believe that anyone over there really knew exactly what they were signing up for. Do you really believe that to be true? If so, then you must believe that each of our fighting men and women were shown a crystal ball showing them what has come to pass since 03. And how dare you refer to any of them by the expression wussies! Goodie for you. You served. I had an uncle who bragged about serving during WWII. A regular self proclaimed hero first class. Know where he served? Texas. Know what he did? Something to do with making sure the General's jeep ran well. Some hero. It takles a certain amount of courage and conviction to speek one's mind. I believe that the first amendment still allows us that right. All of us. Even you, Jason. (Sep 30, 2007 | post #14)
