Good Old Boy Network

Looking back at your original posting, I can tell you that this practice is pretty widespread, not only in Fairfax, but Northern Va. as well. The good ol boy network is basically who you know. There really is no way to get in, other than living here for a while and making contacts. Right now with all the budget cuts and freezes on spending, county jobs are hard to come by..  (Feb 12, 2010 | post #6)

Allright, New to Fairfax, my apologies. That does sound pretty shitty, sorry about your plight. Have you gotten a job yet?  (Feb 12, 2010 | post #5)

Bad experience at Bud's gun shop.

Let me edit my first post: Does anyone have a "good" story that deals with Bud's online services? I am checking out all deals, traveling distance etc...for my next purchase. Usually go to Greentop in Ashland, Va., but I moved, and its a long drive.  (Feb 9, 2010 | post #117)

Bad experience at Bud's gun shop.

I was checking out gun sites on the web and came across Bud's. The site was cool, prices decent, and then I came across these not so nice postings about this business. Anyone out there have a good story to tell about Bud's Guns. Im getting ready to drop some green and I dont want to get screwed.  (Feb 9, 2010 | post #116)
