School system Favoritism

Leave Abe alone. He is a great person and will be a great administrator. Regardless of where he was born, where he was raised or where he went to school he would get a job in any system at any time. Be thankful of a quality young man stepping up to the plate to tackle a job like middle school discipline! Do not talk about a person until you walk a mile in his shoes!!!  (Jul 28, 2011 | post #7)

Admit it, the CC School System is in a mess!

Our problems will not go away until the ignorance of the citizens in our county is cured. But, you must pursue education to cure ignorance and we are only guilty of pursuing a sports state championship of some sort that probally will never happen.  (Jul 20, 2011 | post #33)

Supt Decision Made

Wonder how Sims would have felt if we had dealt as forceful and judgemental with him when he had the DUI as he has been about the board members. Wake up folks, there are power issues and personal agendas with the senator and the representative also.  (Jul 20, 2011 | post #20)

Who do you support for Agriculture Commissioner in Georgi...

Gary Black is good man. I would trust him with my life and the life of my wife and children. He is an active christian who sticks to the guiding principles from the good Lord above. I hear the word lobbyist a lot when people attempt to describe a man whom they do not know or care to know. He began his career at Farm Bureau and then moved to the Agribusiness Council. The Agribusiness Council incorporates all aspects of agriculture from production to finance to processing. 1 in 7 Georgians are employed in some form of agriculture. It takes a well rounded person with some integrity to handle a department as Agriculture in state government. Gary was and is the best choice. Just sit back and watch a Godly man work and you will see the most successful agriculture department in the US!  (Feb 11, 2011 | post #43)

SACS Report

Only Cliett has education beyond high school. The thing about education is that it is more than dollars and cents; it is about the future of our community......our children. It would be very unfortunate for our community to suffer because of a few nuckleheads! The needs of the many out weigh the needs of a few. Do not punish the "boots on the ground" (our teachers) so a few of the top heavy central office staff can keep their jobs!  (May 28, 2010 | post #11)

Coffee Farm Bureau

You hear????? Why don't you tell all of us who are ignorant to the situation what the facts are? I would think that a business the size of Georgia Farm Bureau would not make hasty decisions which would leave themselves open for further litigation. Just a thought but then I am not an attorney.  (May 28, 2010 | post #93)

Coffee Farm Bureau

So, it is all about timing. The length of time since the event happened means it is OK for someone to be mistreated. That means that if someone is murdered today and it is not discovered until a year later then the person responsible should go unpunished! Wow, what a revelation! Glad you cleared that up!  (May 27, 2010 | post #76)

Dear God in Heaven! You must be joking! Those folks can't even spell "morals" much less actually have some!  (May 26, 2010 | post #62)
