Calling someone ignorant, is calling them out. I didn't call you a moron, I didn't cuss at you. You're means of defense when someone may say something that hits too close to home is name-calling and a foul mouth. Whereas, you may have had some valid points, those points were lost because you do not have the ability to keep things on an adult level. I am far from a hyprocrite, I have not cussed you out or called you a moron. I didn't call you dumb, you are simply misinformed.  (Mar 26, 2012 | post #73)

Cute, apparently you still haven't graduated from name-calling, but there aren't that many people that have been turned down because of their skin color. You make this argument pointless, simply because people disagree with you. You're entitled to your own opinions, whether they are valid or not and I am entitled to my own opinions whether they are valid or not. Playing conspiracy theory is so easy because you can blame whoever you want for the current problems. With that kind of mind-set, there will be no relief in sight for this economic turmoil or government issues...it took us, as a nation, to get into this mess and it will take us, as a nation, to pull ourselves out of it. I no longer see the point in attempting to share different points of view with you when you act like everyone else but you is wrong.  (Mar 26, 2012 | post #72)

I will be the first one to admit that I don't live in Kingsland, but here in Charlton County, they said that the police force had to be cut back, no overtime...no money for equipment, cut right down to the bone. That is what I was getting at. People expect premium service on a skeleton budget. I just thought it was unfair to keep cutting from law enforcement while other departments got full funding here...that was the point I was trying to make.  (Mar 19, 2012 | post #105)

Hmmmm, let's see, your own "1st Black President of the United States" has declared the 'War on Terror' as over. How many jobs have been given to the black people who pull the race card if they don't get the job? Now you're going to blame drug wars on politicians and wealthy people, while many dealers are black, white, latino, and asian. At least when I make an argument I'm not cussing at you and name-calling. If you had a valid point, you wouldn't need to resort to such childish means of proving a point. Thanks for showing just how ignorant you really are.  (Mar 19, 2012 | post #61)

Maybe you don't quite grasp the concept of how many people who are claiming to be proud African-American people are bleeding the government assistance lines dry. Maybe those white people wouldn't have to live in such squalor if their job hadn't been given to a black person, or their foodstamps hadn't been given to a black person....but of course, you're going to say that this never happens. Well, it's better for people to think you are ignorant, than to open your mouth and prove it. If someone thinks my comments are false....PROVE ME WRONG.  (Mar 15, 2012 | post #54)

I agree that law enforcement agencies should not be running a "for profit" type of agency. I also think it's crazy for all these political officials to pass bills and things of the like that take funding away from law enforcement agencies.  (Mar 15, 2012 | post #95)

The truth must hurt, or you must be one of those drooling, starched underwear wearing, **special** dispatchers. It's better for people to think you are ignorant than to open your mouth and prove it!  (Mar 15, 2012 | post #28)

Well that's just dandy, another butt kisser. Hope that almighty dollar is worth all that butt kissing. For the rest of us who can barely make a dollar, it does suck. Why should we quit, why shouldn't we demand better treatment. You are calling out people who are complaining...do we not have a legitimate complaint when we wait for twelve hours and get paid only when out on a run, or make nothing at all when we do not get a run. It doesn't sound like you're a driver to me...or maybe you don't have very many people at your location so you can get a run...  (Mar 15, 2012 | post #27)

So you're going to tell me and everyone else that it is fair that drivers get paid NOTHING for a shift, if they can't get a run out. I do find it ridiculous that they get paid as much as they do by the railroads and they can pass nothing on to a driver who has lost 12 hours of their day to work a shift. We drive vans that are either disgusting, falling apart, or both. I don't even believe that you were a driver, maybe you were a dispatcher where you got paid for working a shift. I do appreciate having a job, but I don't appreciate being taken advantage of either. Here's news, it's almost impossible to find a job anywhere in this economy, oh and by the way...that's not our fault. What if someone...let's say me, who had a good job got laid off simply because of budget cuts. I didn't want to leave that job, I got forced out of it...  (Mar 15, 2012 | post #26)

Lemme take a guess....you've been pulled over, had the police at your residence, or maybe even called them in an emergency...but you're the first one to point a finger and complain when something doesn't go your way. Be thankful that there is someone out there looking out for your interests, even if you're not. I wonder how many times that someone has been pulled over for speeding or some other violation and it turns out that they've been driving down the road impaired. Maybe it would be different in your eyes if you had to turn to them to seek out justice. If it wasn't for the long arm of the law, the man who drove drunk and killed my grandson would just walk free....let's hope nothing awful happens where you need to depend on law enforcement for help.  (Mar 5, 2012 | post #83)

I'm not too concerned about it, I just wished to point out how stupid it is that some people just won't leave stuff alone and then when it backfires they blame everyone else for their problems. They don't want people to judge them based on how they dress or how they act, but they sure enough won't do anything to help change a negative stereotype either.  (Mar 5, 2012 | post #51)

In the minds of many, white people are still evil because of past atrocities. It doesn't help that there are various groups running around perpetuating violence on the premise of 'ethnic cleansing' or some religious point of view. Truth is, even though I have never owned a slave, have no plans of owning a slave, and being persecuted because someone else has...stuff isn't going to change tomorrow. If I am a proud Caucasian person I must be carrying a Rebel flag and enjoying a redneck lifestyle....even though I am not. Stereotypes will always be present and because of close-minded people, we can't be proud white people...we will only be perceived as racists.  (Feb 28, 2012 | post #47)

I think it's sad that it takes the breakdown of our economy to point out such large flaws. It drove me crazy to work where people cashed their unemployment checks and some people stated that they made more on unemployment than when they were working. I'm going down in flames, and my basket seats two :/  (Feb 28, 2012 | post #46)

You call them ignorant, but then you say that America is a melting pot and you assume just because their attitude is racist that makes them a Rebel Flag toting, moonshine drinking, and toothless man prefering person. If you wish to enlighten people to a different way of thought, how is name-calling supposed to encourage that? Did Martin Luther King Jr. go around name-calling in his effort to bring equality? No. Lead by example. You make a valid point that many people post comments that encourage hate and arguments without getting any facts. Be the person who takes the high road. It's better for people to assume that someone is ignorant, than for that person to open their mouth and prove it. If people would ignore the hurtful and hateful things that other people say, wouldn't the hate just fall on deaf ears?  (Feb 28, 2012 | post #45)
