Game plan: Move on

Judging from the number of posts, it looks as if Stew the troll has found a new hobby -- posting annoying comments here on the Ravens topix board. Most of the other Steeler trolls have moved on. I'm sure with Stew's immaturity level, he'll move on soon as well. To help speed up that process, follow the old rule of thumb -- don't feed the trolls. Just ignore his nonsensical comments, and sooner than later, he'll get bored -- like most little children do -- and move on to his next toy.  (Dec 16, 2008 | post #108)

What's the plane truth?

Because, apparently, Rex Ryan hasn't learned what most of the rest of the civilized world knows -- that that's NOT the way to play defense at the end of the game.  (Dec 15, 2008 | post #506)

What's the plane truth?

It was a play on words, as in "breaking the plane" truth. Get it?  (Dec 15, 2008 | post #495)

What's the plane truth?

Do Steelers fans realize how pathetic they are even when they win? Me thinks not -- that's what make so many of you/them so pathetic.  (Dec 15, 2008 | post #251)

LOL. I was thinking the same thing. This poster seems intent on providing revisionist history of the Brian Billick era every chance s/he gets. It was the comic relief I needed today after feeling drained by the "stealing defeat from the jaws of victory" defeat last night.  (Dec 15, 2008 | post #250)

slugfest

Frank Walker is a punkazz who should have been cut before the start of the season. I challenge you to find many Ravens fans who think Frank Walker should still be here.  (Dec 15, 2008 | post #331)

A tough spot is not reason for tough loss

What about it? All the proves is that this ref crew stunk. (Not to mention all the non calls when Suggs was held.)  (Dec 15, 2008 | post #68)

It was like the ghost of Brian Billick revisited. Thanks, Cam -- for one of the worst OC performances of your brief Ravens history. And thanks, Rex -- for yet another 57 minute masterpiece that fell just short enough to flush an otherwise outstanding season down the toilet. And thanks, McGahee -- for nothing. And thanks, Joe -- for showing that you're still, after all, a rookie. And a rookie, in this instance, who had both of your hands tied behind your back by your gutless offensive coordinator.  (Dec 15, 2008 | post #3)

Ravens-Steelers game log

Bad thing that the over-riding rule to ONLY reverse calls when the evidence is visually conclusive is abused week after week in the NFL.  (Dec 14, 2008 | post #247)

Where it gets tricky is whether, from the angles on the replays, it was CONCLUSIVE enough to overturn the ruling on the field. I, and just about every other commentator who has given an opinion so far, disagree on whether or not it was conclusive enough to overturn the ruling on the field.  (Dec 14, 2008 | post #237)

The hold on Harrison was blatant, no doubt about it. Terry almost had him in a choke hold for what seemed like several seconds. When I saw the replay, I screamed: That's holding; no doubt about it. But the bad call on the non-first down, and the non-touchdown eclipsed the non-call on the holding. But as others have already said...that's NOT why we lost. We lost because of piss poor play calling by Cameron; poor execution by Flacco; the decision to even have McGahee suit up; and poor play calling by Rex Ryan in the final 3 minutes. And...by good play by the Steelers when it was all on the line.  (Dec 14, 2008 | post #233)

No problem; it was good enough to get posted twice. LOL Every time there's lots of posts, things get slow.  (Dec 14, 2008 | post #132)

Breaking up not so hard for Ravens' Washington

I guess we'll simply agree to disagree on your assessment of Flacco, Rob.  (Dec 14, 2008 | post #24)

The Ravens still haven't figured out how to play 60 full minutes of football. And even though Rice had been inactivated due to a **** contusion, apparently Cam Cameron hasn't figured out that McGahee is a total liability.  (Dec 14, 2008 | post #61)

The Ravens are ahead in every single offensive category this year over last year. Get a clue. Brian Billick couldn't have achieved what this coaching staff has achieved in a million years.  (Dec 14, 2008 | post #53)
