Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton NEW email address

Why is this over-long thread so crap? Why dont you people start a new thread when you change the subject instead of dragging out this useless one? Who the hell is going to give you Paris Hiltons email address hey? What planet are you from?  (Jun 11, 2008 | post #523)

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton - Talented little heiress or slapper with cash

Why dont you deport her to the UK then at least I will know when she is in London? Paris excels at looking absolutely F***ing amazing in almost everything she wears. Have you not seen any of her photographs off the web? They are quality in a world of the repetative and mundane.  (Jun 11, 2008 | post #3)

Paris Hilton

Who Should Paris Make Another Sex-Video With?

I thought Madge was retired now? Well she certainly sucks now according to the press, but I just assumed that after the last album she was going to retire to the country? But then she popped another one out? IMHO I think she should recall all the latest albums she has ripped people off with, and pay them back the money she owes. And this will do her good, becuase then we wont have to endure her geriatric stage performance, and everyone will remember her hung up from before.  (Jun 11, 2008 | post #7)

Morrisons/ Safeway Blandford Forum

Screw Morrisons I want it to be an entertainment complex! With 8 bowling alleys, 1 or 2 cinema screens, a quality burger bar, some retro computer games, a large function room upstairs, and a Roman Baths spa to include jacuzzi's, steam room, saunas, and traditional Roman Bath style meeting place. Only problem is it wont be profitable will it? And Morrisons own the property anyway its not leased. Nevermind.  (Jun 11, 2008 | post #3)

Alternative Energy

The end of the world as we knew it is upon us

Not only do many of us live like kings and queens now and so many people don't appreciate it, but we are turning our hand to the realm of the Gods, with some of our science experiments such as stem cell tech and the like. But in fact we actually live better than the kings and queens of the medival times becuase we have access to even greater quantities of food, drink, entertainment facilities and leisure activities. Our mechanical servants ensure that looking after our dwellings is a breeze, we have hot water on tap, and a supermarket stocked to the brim just down the road. So all this energy we have used up in the process of creating this heaven on earth could have been said to have been well spent, but its only lasted a hundred or so years, so is it really worth it, when you consider how it will end? THe religious nuts from the mediveal times who were averse to technology were prehaps correct no?  (Jun 3, 2008 | post #407)

Alternative Energy

The end of the world as we knew it is upon us

Yes the natural storing of carbon in the ground by the Earth, I thought of this a while ago as well, its very 'Gian Hypophesis'. That guy Lovelock or whatever his name is knows what he is talking about, and he was interviewed by the BBC last year some time. I remember him saying that we were heading back into the medival dark ages again. ANd that there would be great starvation of the masses. Even us humans are a natural response, it must have happened all over the Universe thousands of time s before, and will happen many more times in the future. We are not the first 'Intelligent' civilisation to use fossil fuels, and nature will see to it that we get our just deserts. It doesn't matter one little shit how much we screw up this planet or its ecosystem. THe planet will adapt and in a few million years time there might be another set of animals on top. Not humans though, and not Dodo's either.  (Jun 3, 2008 | post #406)

Whats the differnence bettween driving to work in a truck and riding to work on a motorcycle? Guess what the truck uses more oil than the motorcycle. Get a horse! Ride to that field.  (Jun 1, 2008 | post #364)

The end of the world as we knew it is upon us

Quite. Even we ourselves are a product of nature, we are noting but natural beings. Subject to the same laws as every other living thing in the universe. We cannot escape it.  (Jun 1, 2008 | post #342)

The end of the world as we knew it is upon us

Alternative Energy

The end of the world as we knew it is upon us

I would sudgest then that the Internet perhaps should be saved by the new nuclear/solar/wind /wave power generation systems that we should be building right now? I know that a solar charged battery system would allow me to work on my computer, or it can power a television or stereo for a while between recharges. I thought the internet was suppososed to survive a nuclear war, or maybe this was just propaganda?  (Jun 1, 2008 | post #321)

Alternative Energy

The end of the world as we knew it is upon us

All religions set out to provide a moral framework to model our lives upon. This generally goes against the grain of our animal nature, which is extremely violent for all animals have to fight for a living, to kill to eat and survive in the world. We are not much different to the animals in that we still have to kill to survive but we have sanitized this process and now most of us accept the deaths of chickens and cows in farms becuase most of us are far removed from this process. But we still have human nature, and it is natural for some people to want power and dominate others, and it is natural for those in power to become corrupt if they wern't already. But they still have a responsibility to do the right thing. And the right thing is not always what most people would difine a 'good'. Good and evil are like heaven and hell, inventions of the Christians. Before Christianity took hold, people had a very differnet set of moral beliefs. There was no good and evil, and it was perfectly alright to kill animals and have men fight to the death in arenas purely for entertainment purposes. They still had right and wrong though, just as we do now. ANd we still watch people fight to the death and other terrible crimes in our films, however it is now just pretend. But violence in films and on television provides an important psychological release for us humans. Feeding that gulf that exists where we previously acted barbarically, more animalistically and naturally. Religon is often used by those in power to keep the masses in check, and behaved. And thats where Heaven and Hell came in. If you acted good in your life, you would go to heaven, and forever be happy and content. Conversly if you were not a good person and behaved bad in your life then you would go to hell, and suck the lava. I don't believe these things myself, I prefer to believe that Heaven and Hell are places on THIS Earth, and that people live in heaven or hell depending on what thier circumstances are. I personally think that reincarnation is more likely that heaven and hell, and that why I would call myself a sort of Christo-Buddist. Because I still believe in the one God the creator, who makes all the decisions, I just don't think we go anywhere else other than back onto this Earth after we die. Most people would say that they believe in God, but they do not all follow the moral codes set out by thier religion. Not many people go to church anymore, but we can always find religion in the arts. Film, paintings, modern art, not so much TV, but some TV programmes all the same all portray morality in some respect and Gods word always finds a way to get to us whether we belive in him or not. I was an athiest for most of my life, but now that I believe in God, and don't believe in space aliens anymore, I find that my life has more direction and purpose. But as I've said before, God needs athiests sometimes, and there have always been people who dont believe in any religion. ANd I've got nothing against them, in fact they make the best arguing opponents.  (May 30, 2008 | post #267)
