There have been apparently many unauthentic, forged hadiths in an effort to malign the Prophet (PBUH), and these are precisely what the hate-mongers love to employ in their campaign of hate and slander: (1) The Hadith should not be contrary to the text or the teaching of the Qur'an or the accepted basic principles of Islam. (2) The Hadith should not be against the dictates of reason or laws of nature and common experience. (3) The Hadith should not be contrary to the Traditions which have already been accepted by authorities as reliable and authentic by applying all principles. (4) The Hadith which sings the praises and excellence of any tribe, place or persons should be generally rejected (5) The Hadith that contains the dates and minute details of the future events should be rejected. (6) The Hadith that contains some remarks of the Prophet which are not in keeping with the Islamic belief of Prophethood and the position of the Holy Prophet or such expressions as may not be suitable to him, should be rejected.  (Aug 15, 2008 | post #6)

Neutral: TATA may be the largest company in India, but their technology is backdated, as much as their cars are outdone by those of foreign make, Japanese and German in particular. Travel in a TATA vehicle, and travel in a Honda, Toyota, etc. The difference is BIG. Agreed, those cars come expensive when compared to a TATA, but isn’t it about time TATA really competed with the rest of the world? At present, the whole world recognizes brands like Honda, Toyota, Mercedes, BMW, etc., but just how many people outside of India seriously recognize TATA? It’s because they don’t have what it takes yet to get that global recognition. I recently read that TATA had acquired a foreign car brand (Jaguar and Land Rover). Let’s just hope it brings in the much-needed modern-day technology to TATA’s engineering units. If we truly want to “GO,” we ought to do it in the right manner, with the requisite technology to compete with, if not better, the rest of the world. It's only then that we will win that global acclamation and recognition amongst the best in the world.  (Jul 27, 2008 | post #8)

Neutral: Yes, too many complications. You could say that. No, the Qur’an is the same for every Muslim. There’s no Shia Qur’an and no Sunni Qur’an. Honestly, though, my knowledge of Islam is superficial, and I’m afraid I cannot provide you with all the information you’re looking for. Maybe it’s the difference in beliefs. As far as I know, Sunnis believe in the four khalifahs (caliphs), namely Hadrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA), Hadrat Umar (RA), Hadrat Usman (RA), and Hadrat Ali (RA), whereas the Shiahs believe in only one khalifah, which is Hadrat Ali (RA). Perhaps the incident of Imam Hussain played a part, too. Well, there may be other reasons, and I may be entirely wrong, but then again, I do believe this is at least one of the reasons for the differences between the two.  (Jul 27, 2008 | post #1142)
