Testing Ellen G.White as a messenger of God and prophet.

First of all, do you realize that you're hanging a whole theory on a single word?  (Jun 2, 2014 | post #19)

Evolution Debate

Many many years from now...

Your understanding is grotesquely immature and absolutely incorrect. First, you should know that Jesus commended the Jews on their evangelism: Matthew 23:15 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are." Second: The Jews are an amazing example of presumptuous arrogance that dared to force God to accept their wickedness based on the wonderful promises that God made to Abraham. Jesus clearly taught that the Jewish Nation overstepped its limits, was rejected by God and had lost its divine favor. Would you like to see the quote? And you prefer to receive your religious instruction from a people cursed by God and not Christ Himself?  (Jun 2, 2014 | post #62)

I Want To Be Disfellowshipped From The SDA Church

Your question is reasonable. Some Seventh-day Adventists advise victims of church sanctioned abuse to just take it and accept it as if they were the youngest members of NAMBLA.  (May 30, 2014 | post #28)

Why Neil deGrasse Tyson has creationists so thoroughly pe...

As a quantum creationist, I think that we should take some of the things that Neil deGrasse Tyson has said very seriously. For instance, Neil said that there are collections of galaxies and even clusters of galaxies that all orbit their common center of mass. I therefore announce Shubert's cosmological model where all galaxies, clusters and superclusters also revolve around a single central point -- the center of the universe. Clearly, redshifts could be interpreted as evidence of this, provided that we entertain the possibility that our galaxy is near to the center of the universe. I happen to know a lot about this, such as the direction to the center of the universe and our orbital velocity.  (May 23, 2014 | post #2)

Testing Ellen G.White as a messenger of God and prophet.

Here is another EGW prophecy come true: Sadly, it’s an incontrovertible fact that Adventists shunning other Adventists is practiced, including direct retaliation against authentic believers (like Ellen G. White), and this was prophesied to happen to everyone that would dare say anything that undermines faith in the Seventh-day Adventist church being a “holy order." The indisputable context to the prophetic revelation was the medieval-mindednes s of those in Sister White’s home church and the ease to which they could believe gossip and half-truths. That night I dreamed that I was in Battle Creek looking out from the side glass at the door and saw a company marching up to the house, two and two. They looked stern and determined. I knew them well and turned to open the parlor door to receive them, but thought I would look again. The scene was changed. The company now presented the appearance of a Catholic procession. One bore in his hand a cross, another a reed. And as they approached, the one carrying a reed made a circle around the house, saying three times: "This house is proscribed. The goods must be confiscated. They have spoken against our holy order." Terror seized me, and I ran through the house, out of the north door, and found myself in the midst of a company, some of whom I knew, but I dared not speak a word to them for fear of being betrayed. I tried to seek a retired spot where I might weep and pray without meeting eager, inquisitive eyes wherever I turned. I repeated frequently: "If I could only understand this! If they will tell me what I have said or what I have done!" I wept and prayed much as I saw our goods confiscated. I tried to read sympathy or pity for me in the looks of those around me, and marked the countenances of several whom I thought would speak to me and comfort me if they did not fear that they would be observed by others. I made one attempt to escape from the crowd, but seeing that I was watched, I concealed my intentions. I commenced weeping aloud, and saying: "If they would only tell me what I have done or what I have said!" My husband, who was sleeping in a bed in the same room, heard me weeping aloud and awoke me. My pillow was wet with tears, and a sad depression of spirits was upon me. —Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 1, p. 578. http://everythingi mportant.org/duper y  (May 23, 2014 | post #10)

Is Ellen White the final interpreter of scripture for SDA?

It is a fulfilled dream by EGW. Sister White dreamed that her home church became Catholic because of the ease by which they could believe gossip and become completely Medieval in their thinking. http://everythingi mportant.org/gospe l/7faces.htm  (May 23, 2014 | post #47)

Testing Ellen G.White as a messenger of God and prophet.

The remnant church is called to go through an experience similar to that of the Jews; and the True Witness, who walks up and down in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks, has a solemn message to bear to His people." — Ellen G. White, Selected Messages Book 1, p. 387. Check. This prophecy has been fulfilled. rejecting adventism

I'd like to be a Seventh-day Adventist but there are four things standing in my way. I would be forced to approve of the Seventh-day Adventist leadership enabling and protecting Seventh-day Adventist spiritualists in their dissemination of demonic doctrines. I would be forbidden to point out that the Adventist Review has not repented of disseminating Zionist propaganda, which is a cloak for horrific atrocities. I would be unwelcome to care that Nazi medical ethics were bought at Loma Linda University and that a major, unrepentant, Seventh-day Adventist institution was complicit in a corporate strategy to relax existing environmental regulations for the purpose of permitting long-term perchlorate contamination. And I would be expected to give money to a money-making corporation that punishes dissidents through the civil and criminal courts.  (Apr 9, 2014 | post #8)

My Experience With Adventist Online

The excuse given is that place is only for Seventh-day Adventists. The truth is that place is only for those who want to be sheltered and encouraged in their self-righteousness and perfect Laodicean mindset. I truly don't understand why the unthinking SDAs here don't go over there.  (Apr 9, 2014 | post #9)

My Experience With Adventist Online

This thread is about my experience with Adventist Online. Have you ever posted there? I've dealt with the omega of deadly heresies elsewhere. The leaders who fabricate fundamental beliefs and their fictions don't interest me. My interest is in the truth of Scripture. I have already completely resolved the first angel's controversy and gave the link. You need to stop flattering the pope by your mimicry of the papacy and repent of your blind presumptuousness.  (Apr 9, 2014 | post #6)
