methadone can make you very sick and disabled.not the wo...

Wow! I had no idea that Methadone couuld cause heartburn! I have noticed some light flashes in my eyes and a few pitter-patters of my heart, also I just found out that the reason I was experiencing withdrawals, (not bad), were caused by the Sustiva medicine in my Atripla medication causing my Methadone levels to fall by up to 40% my doctor said! He was unaware of this new finding too is why he actually accused me of eggagerating my pain when in fact last week he appologised for this and raised my level to 60mg a day. (Two 10mg pills, three times a day). I also saw a post where somebody was bragging about taking 700mg of Methadone a day and calling others here in the forum "Titty-Babies "! (I can't find this post anymore)! Does/has anyone seen this post or know which one I'm talking about? (Thanks)! PS....I'm so glad to hear that you too can get out of bed in the mornings! I too now get up and have my coffee then I walk into the bathroom and take a nice shower/shave and brush my teeth, where as before Methadone, I would lay in bed in horror/pain! I was given the choice of accepting my doctors prescription for Oxycodone, but I fear this is a train wreck waiting to happen, so I stick with the exact doses he wants for me to take and my life too has returned as well  (Jan 28, 2009 | post #243)

What's your daily dose of Methadone?

And "nobody" needs this much Methadone unless they are abusing it! Your doctor would put you on another pain med if you were needing this much too!  (Jan 27, 2009 | post #7)

Freight train schedule

Freigh trains really don't run on schedules. It with them too is hit and miss when they are called out, then once aboard their train, they have to get their track warrant read to them and then they read this back, etc, etc, etc.... If you are at the tracks, look up and down the tracks and see what the signals are showing. If there are no lit signals, then "usually " no train is in the area, if the signal is yellow or green, you may be in luck if you have patiants... If it's red, then still you might be in luck, but depending on where you are, the red signal may only mean nothing on CTC. The signals look almost like traffic signal poles along the streets.  (Jan 26, 2009 | post #4)

What's your daily dose of Methadone?

What breakthrough pain medicine are you taking if you don't mind me asking? I was also using a breakthrough pain medication called "Vicoprofen " 7.5mg/200mg  (Jan 23, 2009 | post #3)

My God!!! I only take 60mg a day of Methadone and feel it's too much. You are going to go through severe withdrawals if you run out and have to go "cold turkey"!!! I'd back off around 10mg every two days until you are down to about 50mg or 60mg a day. (Of course don't take my word for this)! Go see your doctor for his professional advice. (200mg is way too much, because my doctor already admitted to me that me taking the 60mg a day is a hefty daily dose)! Good luck!  (Jan 23, 2009 | post #284)

Is Breastfeeding in Public Indecent and Wrong

It's natural! Some people feel that nothing is more natural/healthy than mothers milk and when your baby gets hungry, nature calls for a feeding and you can't hold off from feeding the baby just because of offending somebody! (They can just look away if they are offended)! Both my two younger sisters ate from the mammary gland and when they were hungry, they got fed whether in private or public.  (Jan 21, 2009 | post #11641)
