Yes, Cynic you make a good point. We're asking for folks to be honest and forthcoming. I'll be closing up shop on this thread at 3:45 p.m. As the judge said: See ya'll on the other side! Thanks for your questions and conversation. (Oct 16, 2009 | post #70)

On Monday, we'll ask that you use your name. That's where we're starting from. Let's go a few months and see where we are from there. (Oct 16, 2009 | post #60)

On Monday, go straight to Santafenewmexican. com to access news and their corresponding threads. I've not asked yet that Topix change anything. (Oct 16, 2009 | post #57)

The sports department is tweeting @sfnmsports if you're interested. Our main feed is @thenewmexican. You'll see more of this as we transition forward. We're also going to be asking for more input via twitter from readers - submitting scores using twitter hashtags, photo submissions, etc. (Oct 16, 2009 | post #33)

We've also spent a lot of time trying to work out how we might give you more social tools, sort of like on our Scoop or eTaste site. We're also increasing our presence on Twitter and facebook. (Oct 16, 2009 | post #26)

There are also some technical hurdles to overcome. Some of the things we'd like to do over time include using facebook as your log-in and commenting ID. (Oct 16, 2009 | post #22)

Thank you for your input, Dave. We're going to try something different and see how that works out. I'm sure some folks won't be happy with some changes. Others will. (Oct 16, 2009 | post #12)
