cursive writing

That's exactly why I am now homeschooling mine. I have a daughter who made straight A's from kindergarten till her junior year, where she had several teachers who would rather play games on their cell phones than teach. So I brought her home, she is doing Penn Foster Online, which is an accredited school and is making A's again. My son who was in the eighth grade was also removed when I learned no one had bothered to teach him cursive writing. They may be using computers now, but a computer can't write or sign a check. And the banks quit accepting X's a long time ago. Knox County is completely lost, when it comes to teaching our children. The education system here is a joke. And would you like to know what is required of me by the State? I have to show at the end of each year, that they have attended home school for at least 175 days. How can they not attend? Unless they run away from home! They are not concerned with what I am teaching them, as long as they are here 175 days. Which I also consider a joke. Other states make you come in and show the school board exactly what you are going to be teaching. But not Knox County, they don't give a good crap. Both of my children are making A's & B's and it was all done in the safety of their own home.  (Aug 8, 2011 | post #20)

how to make good cornbread

Excuse me? But you replied to Liberty's recipe and then say that I am fat. I think the fat is between you ears honey. NO BRAIN!!!!!! And also for you information I don't consider 5'7" * 129# * 38-26-38 as being fat. Your just one of the little idiots on here that like to start stuff on every posts on here. Why? Are you tired of Jacking off? I don't normally say things on here unless it is about someone I know, and then I have never went on a post and bashed anyone. But I am getting fed up with yep and it's little buddies following me around and putting crap on the posts about me, when you jerks don't even know me. So honey, get off my case, you don't know me. And if you are done Jacking off, put it in your cornbread and bake it, I'm sure your kind will enjoy it.  (Jun 26, 2009 | post #6)

how to make good cornbread

If you want buttermilk cornbread that is not sweet tasting try this one, it's been in my family for years. Preheat Oven to 350. Pour approx. 4 Tbls. Vegetable Oil in Cast Iron Skillet let heat in Oven while mixing below ingredients: 2 cups cornmeal 2 Tbls. Flour 1 Tsp. Salt 1 Egg 1/2 Cup Buttermilk Enough water to have texture of cake batter. Remove heated skillet, and pour in mixture, some oil will come up around the sides of mixture, spread oil around on top to make top good and brown. Bake until top is brown, Approx. 45 min. You can also add 1/2 Cup Pork Cracklins to it too, makes it even yummier. Good Luck and happy eating!  (Jun 26, 2009 | post #4)
