Feds Prevent Protection of Black Owned Businesses in Ferg...

The federal government wanted businesses in Ferguson to burn. Why? If you thought the Fed.s were trying to start a race war, here is more fuel for the fire. I can not think of one good reason for this. "Police in Ferguson, Missouri, have been pressured by the federal government to stop members of Oath Keepers from guarding local homes and businesses targeted by arsonists. Oath Keepers, an organization consisting of former and current military, police and first responders, dispatched several members to Ferguson the day after the Grand Jury announcement to provide free security to those in need. Almost immediately after receiving praise in a local paper for protecting vulnerable residents, Oath Keepers standing watch on top of a locally-owned bakery witnessed a three-man sniper team exiting a silver Suburban on the ground below. The three men were then seen setting up sniper hides in a nearby building before aiming their rifles directly at the group. Across the street, on top of the fire hall, a separate sniper team began setting up as well." Is part of legitimate protest the destruction of minority owned businesses, and should the federal government be aiding and abetting that? http://oathkeepers .org/oktester/feds -enable-arsonists- target-oath-keeper s-protecting-fergu son-businesses/  (Jun 30, 2015 | post #1)

Action, adventure and atheism? 'Compass' meets some oppos...

It means the same thing though. Though some might argue that it is really a reference to some helper spirit or familiar etc., it is still demonic and occultic of course. Abraham was willing but God intervened in the end. Child sacrifice by the various pagan religions was always considered an abomination by Yahweh and still is to this day, though I guess Pullman might want to institutionalize it to reduce the worlds population. It is this way in the great atheist state of China. The state forces abortions on citizens who have more than 1 child. The golden compass is a broken moral compass designed to lead your children into the abyss. But hey if your new value set includes devil worship then have at it. All I can tell you from reading the end of the good Book (the Bible) is that it ends badly for you.  (Dec 10, 2007 | post #435)

That's just a thin venier over an utterly satanic premise. Who cares if it's in an 'alternate' universe. So was C.S. Lewis' Narnia. The author makes it quite clear where he stands. Do you not admit one of the books heroes sacrifices a child for the greater good? In the last book he refers to the senile God he is trying to kill as Yahweh. Now just whom might that God be in Pullman's mind? It sure isn't Allah or Buddah now is it? These are the new 'family' values of the militant atheist: devil worship and child sacrifice. It's fascinating that many chief 'atheists' are closet devil worshippers. Prime examples are Marx, Pullman and Stalin.  (Dec 10, 2007 | post #382)

Police: Man admits plan to give crack as Christmas gifts

When I was in history class I believed everything they told me and was careful to denigrate the faith just like I had been trained. It took a few smacks upside the head later in life to begin the deprogramming and put my trust in Jesus.  (Dec 10, 2007 | post #25)

Well you bring up some good points. But drug abuse is a general symptom of a declining society and a broken relationship with God. It's like a systemic disease, say Lyme disease. Now you might get arthritis with Lyme disease and you could take aspirin for the arthritis, but you wouldn't be treating the underlying cause. In this case having the church run things won't help either since most of churches are infected with the same corruption, sin. The cure is to have people turn to God and turn away from sin and those who are in the faith to start praying. Otherwise I honestly think we are running out of time. On a personal level of course you can change things for the better. You can get right with God. Go to a Bible believing church and start trying to make difference.  (Dec 10, 2007 | post #24)

OK let's see if your moral compass has been superseded by the Golden compass. I read the book when it first came out, gave it a scathing review and then had my review pulled from Amazon shortly before the movie came out. (I wonder why?) The book promotes it as a great virtue for everyone to have their own personal demon. (They spell it daemon to make it 'acceptable') The heroes father saves the day by performing a black satanic ritual involving child sacrifice in order to get the hero transported to an alternate dimension. Later we learn that satan is a swell guy who is just misunderstood and that God is an ogre who must be defeated. Now this is the same God that sent his only Son Jesus Christ to die for us all on the cross, but apparently self sacrifice is not a great virtue for a young budding satanist. That is essentially what the hero is doing, fighting for the cause of satan, in order to overthrow God. Isn't that a great topic for a children's book? Just how sick and perverse do you need to get? If you like the movie, then buy the book and put it next to your dog eared copy of the satanic Bible or the Necromonicon. Maybe the child molesting satanist Michael Aquino can give you a few pointers.  (Dec 10, 2007 | post #367)

Tree controversy shows what the world is coming to

Actually it's never enough for the militant atheists and leftists to let people of faith continue in their beliefs. They feel an irrational need to shut faith down at all costs, as though it was a personal threat. Perhaps it is in terms of coming to grips with a God who might intervene in your life for good or for ill. That's what this is, an attempt by a minority of left leaning atheists to crush a tiny remnant of an expression of faith. Can't you be happy with removing all references to God in your textbooks and classrooms? These people are far worse than the Puritans were at maintaining doctrinal purity. They can't even allow a debate about intelligent design or any dissident theory that doesn't fit the current wave of marxist scientific materialism. Thus a christmas tree or Menorah must be shut down at all costs. In fact it's practically a national emergency to be in the presence of one.  (Dec 10, 2007 | post #24)

Violent rapes, drugged homeless youth without a future committing vandalism, how much more of this can we take? Leominster isn't exactly small town America is it. Once people realize just how slummy most of MA is, with no job prospects they just leave and who can blame them? I just feel sorry for the communities out west and in the south that they move to. It's a values deficit. You can tell there is one when they keep voting in the same losers drawn from the same communist party year after year. Along with the values deficit it appears that public education burns out critical thinking skills by the time you reach high school.  (Dec 4, 2007 | post #2)

Give LHS students the high school they deserve

I would rethink the 'deserve' part of this headline. The best thing that could happen would be to shut down the public schools and just give parents their money back so that they can either homeschool them or send them to decent private schools. Communist style central schooling has been a disaster from the moment it was foisted upon an unsuspecting public.  (Dec 4, 2007 | post #7)

As a matter of fact yes. This is a symptom of a moral decline. Most of the worlds problems are due to a shortage of Jesus and a shortage of capitalism. However don't take my word for it. George Washington said this in his farewell addressQUOTE] Last I remember, this whole idea of "Family Values" came from the same folks who said when it comes to drugs..."Just Say No!" So please do the world a favor and come up with some else. Family Values doesn't always work, especially when parents are forced to work 2 jobs a parent to make ends meet, and leave kids on their own. God didn't make these people do drugs, nor did he keep them away from them. Besides 7-Thunders...remem ber...marijuana is vegetation...came with the whole package that created earth...from God. After all.....ever hear of the burning bush? [/QUOTE] Last I checked the only successful drug rehabilitation programs out there are run by christian organizations. Teen Challenge (open to adults by the way in case you need it) has a 90% success rate and victory outreach an 80% success rate. Government sponsored programs are considered successful if they achieve 10%. Perhaps there is a little more too this. Could it possibly be that God is real and could intervene in a person's life? How could that be? They didn't teach us that in history class.  (Dec 4, 2007 | post #12)

Wow, thanks for making my case. Yeah the general decline in morality is well reflected among some predatory teachers. Yet for some reason they can not allow you to educate your child yourself or pay for private education. At the $10K a child our system sucks up, I could chauffeur my child to a private christian school where they'd get a much better education. But it's not enough for them to have your child 6-7 hours a day, constantly brainwashing them with anti-christian, scientific materialism, they also need to work their way into your homes to make sure you raise your kids just the way the state likes them. Maybe they need more good little socialists who will continue to self medicate and otherwise enslave themselves to the global plan.  (Dec 4, 2007 | post #24)

Holiday tree causes rift

Why am I not surprised? This is consistent with the mission of government controlled education camps (schools). Scrub all vestiges of our christian heritage from the minds of those 'adorable' children. Since the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, christians have been the chief source of helps and mercy to the entire world. You can look at Pope Gregory's agricultural program in Rome to feed the poor, to Mercy ships which provides lifesaving surgery to the third world poor, to Katrina (most of the help then and now is through the church) and even to the help that was poured out to Muslim Indonesia after the Tsunami. Yet somehow these parents, these moral geniuses, wish to stifle any expression of religious compassion. This my friends is the future of post-christian America.  (Dec 4, 2007 | post #36)

This is just an example of our new post-christian 'family values'. If they spend any time in jail (which is doubtful around here), they will just learn how to hide it better for next time. Meanwhile officials will just wring their hands wondering what's wrong with our cities and communities. It will never occur to them that values actually matters, since that is basically a thought crime in MA.  (Dec 4, 2007 | post #4)

Much to be thankful for in North Central Mass.

I might be thankful if I were moving out of the area. Unfortunately I'm stuck here for the foreseeable future. Does the author of this article actually think that creating more retail outlets in a city improves the economy? Do they realize that the retail outlets do not produce anything only more debt and perhaps a little extra in tax money for our local governments to squander. Though I will admit Leominster seems to be in slightly better shape than some other communities. Frankly I would be dismayed by the exponential increase in violent crime and drug crimes in the area as well as the loss of jobs to overseas fascist, slave labor states (which our officials seem to favor). Housing prices continue to slide downward as they should and real income after inflation is down down down. Just to add to the fun we have hidden public health epidemics that are being deliberately ignored and covered up, such as Lyme disease. There may be a lot to be thankful for, such God, family and friends, but little of it sources from living in N. Central MA sorry to say. I suppose I could be thankful I don't live in Detroit.  (Dec 4, 2007 | post #2)

What's abusive is to have the state dictate 'normalcy' to your children. Normalcy these days means that the state expects you to be having sex at age 12, exploring your homosexual tendencies, experiment with drugs and to look to the state to solve all of your problems. Thus if a parent dare intervene with their 'neanderthal' value systems, like discipline, or church or Bible teaching, that's considered a crime and should be punished. That's the psychotic thinking of the government and their mandated government controlled education camps otherwise known as public education. We have a lot of teachers in our extended family and they are taught to sniff out unwanted thought crimes among childrens parents. It's already true that if you spank your child and your child tells your teacher about it you could well receive a visit from the gestapo, DSS. One poor parent told his childs teacher that he spanked her and forced her to read Bible verses. He still doesn't know where the state has placed his child. No doubt she's with a sex offender or something released by a typical MA judge.  (Nov 29, 2007 | post #11)
