Obama Says Some Voters Are Angry, Bitter

Is Obama not right though? Honestly, when people feel helpless about their situation, they tend to focus their frustration on other matters they feel can be controlled. These people are in a bad way, much like many Americans. This is a form of scarcity influence, they have been flung into a state where they feel unable to change their own state, so they try to influence another aspect in our society, such as Obama stated. This is them trying to get control back, all people want control, even if its a little bit. They are bitter, and have dam good reasoning to be so. Obama is not putting them down for being bitter, he is pointing out an issue that our government needs to address. These people, like most Americans are bitter, and its time for change, and it seems like only one candidate can see the whole picture.  (Apr 18, 2008 | post #978)

I was going to be enraged by your comments, but then i realized you are a twit. I think when i have children i won't be ok with them being taught lessons by tasers. But obviously, a good moral person like yourself would make a way better parent, if the kid messes up you hit him with a taser or cattle prod. Every action has a reaction, and any object will continue to move unless a force stops it. So hopefully one day you stupidity will be stopped, and maybe, just maybe America will forgive your mother for producing you. I sensationalize because i am sensational.  (Apr 3, 2008 | post #522)

I completely agree with you, these people are cold hearted, and most likely racists. Its amazing how some people on this board can completely agree with the brute electrical force used on a girl, an eleven year old girl. These things kill people, how is an officer right when she uses this on a child, no matter how developed her body is, her psyche is developed. Does anyone here know what kind of damage an electrocution would do to that poor girl's psyche? Unbelievable how much nonsense these people make.  (Apr 2, 2008 | post #498)

No i am just a student of the Seminole tribe ways. Whats the matter have nothing better to say than attack some random person for no apparent reason? Is your life that pointless where you have to come on this thing and pick fights with other people? ] Do us all a favor and just jump already.  (Mar 31, 2008 | post #473)

I would not be ok with the karate chop as, well, its a karate chop to the neck. But to put her down and constrain her, cuff her would have been best, i think. The potential of disaster when using taser on such a young person should have made that option unavailable.  (Mar 31, 2008 | post #472)

Well i went to the local elementary, and now that my zest for subduing 11 year olds is quenched, i am back. First off, i am not an officer of the law, i have nothing but respect for them, but i feel that she could have handled it with out a pronged taser. I mean honestly, yea shes a big girl and yea she was being violent, i am in no way defending her. She needs to be punished and helped with her social problems that she obviously has. My whole point is that she is supposed to be trained to handle these situations effectively with little harm to the minor. If you can't subdue an 11 year old girl, no matter how big she is, you don't belong to be a professional. The dangers involved in that situation are great, she could have hit the floor wrong, nailed a desk with her head, paralysis. She is still in formative years, unlike many problem people in our society, there is still hope for her to become a productive member of society, subduing her with a great potential to get hurt, if not worse. I agree with you on the point of how children seem different these days, but that problem does mostly lie on parents. I can agree certain force was necessary to handle this girl, but i think a little physical constraint of the girl would have been more wise, than using a weapon that could have potentially kill her. and who says i wasn't throwing chairs at my buddy? haha  (Mar 31, 2008 | post #471)

The correct way to handle this situation would have been the way an adult handles an 11 YEAR OLD GIRL. Yea the girl was big, but shouldn't we higher officers that can enforce the law without shooting volts into person. The officer should constrained her like an officer should constrain an individual. Shes bad, deal with her correctly. You don't taser a person under 12, really should be 16 but still the officer should have put her down with physical aggression. I am a pretty strong guy in good physical shape, and my friend, 5'3 120, took a self-defense class, and was able to take me down with one move on my face, without hurting me in the least bit. How is this not an option when dealing with an 11 year old girl, i am way bigger than 5'5 170. So explain to me how alternative measures can not be used when dealing with a young female. I understand sometimes their is situations where a person is a threat ( i.e. huge guy/ armed person) but she should have exercised good judgment, or be replaced by someone who will. Now granted i am not one who is against physical punishment, i lived by the belt law in my house, but please don't tell me an armed officer of the law is incapable of taking down a person with out weapon force.  (Mar 31, 2008 | post #465)

LeBron James' Vogue cover called racially insensitive -- ...

I feel sort of like i am in that movie "Idiocracy " This is absurd to think lebron James is gorilla like in this picture. If any beastly remarks are made about him they should be solely placed on the numerous times he completely owns someone at the rim. Isn't Giselle Brazilian as well?
