Oil prices slip from record levels

Guys don't feed the trolls. He probably works for the oil company. He completely misses the fact of record prices = record profits. While the average American citizen, who actually drives the economy, is hurting. Let him sit in his corner office in the high rise and laugh at the little people. He is about himself and only himself... sad really but you won't change is outlook, trolls live under the bridge and pay little attention to the reality on top of it.  (Mar 14, 2008 | post #38)

We're sorry The article link is not valid or the article ...

Because its not like the unemployment rate has been calculated the same way for years. I mean Mitch has definitely changed the way the calculate so he looks good. (this is complete sarcasm). Some people are never happy. The rate has fallen every year he has been in office, I failing to understand your logic.  (Mar 12, 2008 | post #45)

Today's election day in 7th District

If by more experience you mean a couple months on the County Council in which within a couple of weeks he announced his candidacy. He has exactly 0 experience in government. Check Elrod's history again, do your own research. Uneducated voter at its finest.  (Mar 11, 2008 | post #262)

Also since you seem to be so "educated " on the subject why don't you enlighten us with some of your wisdom rather than posting "flamebait " as you call it. Go play with your toys now and leave us adults to our conversation.  (Mar 11, 2008 | post #66)

What exactly was your point here. Because I am certainly not grasping it. If you are trying to accuse me of flaming then you should check your definition.  (Mar 11, 2008 | post #60)

Today's election day in 7th District

You know as much as I hate to say it. Carson will when this election because people in the district don't educate themselves on the candidates. I stood in one business yesterday, a bum, a bum came in and handed the employee a Vote for Carson door hang. When asked by another employee, who are you voting for? She says Carson, if he was anything like is grandmother I would vote for him in a minute." Its sad, she had no idea how little Julia had accomplished. Julia voted on party lines, not what was best for Indiana, what was best for the Dems. And that was only when she actually voted. It is 100% completely unfortunate that people lack the "desire" to educate themselves on who they are actually voting for.  (Mar 11, 2008 | post #64)

I am not downplaying anything. The fact that I am living with Type 1 Diabetes should tell you that I am not downplaying anything. I just don't sit on my **** all day long waiting for someone to rescue me from my disease. Now I didn't get it through Zyprexa and my initial post was to hopefully give the man a little hope. Through is ignorant responses along with yours it tells me you may know about the disease, but don't have a clue as to how to actually manage it. Eat right, take your insulin, test and stay active. I plan on dying of old age. Again you also may want to see what is being done with Stem Cell research as well as research in Japan. The call has been to find a cure for Type 1 in the next 10 years. Now if Danny Hazard wants to sit on his A and not take care of himself then that his for him to decide, but I can promise you there are a lot more "I can't live with this, I don't take my medicine" diabetics that are 6 feet under, as compared to people like myself. People need to do there damn research and stop spouting off lies about a disease you know little about.  (Mar 11, 2008 | post #58)

If by expert witness you mean actually living with the disease and winning... then by all means I sure will. You should do some research on Type 1 (at this point I am doubting you know anything about the disease), diabetes and what they are doing with Stem Cell Research as well as in Japan. Might give you a better outlook on life... Difference between you and me is that I don't live my life as if I am already 3 feet under.  (Mar 10, 2008 | post #47)

Typical response from you. You paint yourself into a corner with your own idiocracy and then result to throwing poo. You are predictable at best.  (Mar 10, 2008 | post #171)

I have a life insurance policy. Just received a new one 2 years ago. 2 of my aunts and uncles died from Diabetes complications, one was 20 years ago, diabetes is completely different. The other was 5 years ago and she didn't take her medicine. The days of blindness and rotting limbs are in the past. It only happens to people who don't take care of them self. You seem to be a fan of google... try googling people that have lived over 50 years with diabetes. I was apologizing for you hardship and trying to indicate some sympathy. NOW I am just calling you another "ignorant " negative **** that trolls the boards to spout off. Do your research, talk to your endocrinologist and take care of yourself. Diabetes is a survivable disease.  (Mar 10, 2008 | post #45)

I feel for you and your diagnosis with Diabetes. HOwever being a type 1 diabetic myself. I do not have a shortened life span. My sugars are in check I eat healthy, stay active and get all my checkups. You can live a long full life with Diabetes, you just have to manage it. As far as the Zyprexa case goes I don't know enough to be dangerous. But I can tell you FDA approval process is extensive, my sister is a pharmacist... I would also be looking into why it was approved without these issues addressed.  (Mar 10, 2008 | post #39)

These are not included because they were concessions made based on what the Dems would vote for. Wake up.  (Mar 10, 2008 | post #157)

How many times do you idiots have to be told Mitch didn't get rid of the Inventory Tax? Are you that dense?  (Mar 10, 2008 | post #156)

Wake up and call some one in MI, IL or OH. See what you think about accomplishing nothing!? DO YOU LIVE IN A BUBBLE? Look at the rest of the country?? You speak as if you have a clue, when in actuality you have been biting into every piece of "ignorant " pie the Star and Dems have been feeding you. Look at the rest of the midwest and tell me he has done nothing. You all pretty much fail to see that unless he presented a plan, there was going to be no property tax plan. They would have sat on their hands just as they are doing right now at this very moment. They won't have a choice after Friday, I hope Mitch suspends pay and makes them stay until its done. Everyone complains about the toll road yet hasn't bothered to look at the numbers. You complain about outsourcing yet with outsourcing we eliminate government jobs and can actually hold someone accountable for failures. Mitch is a business man. He makes his decision on what is best for the state, and out of all politicians he is the only one that has shown me he realizes that the state is actually the people. The Dems want a plan that will protect "the poor." The poor are already protected by every plan underneath the sun. Its time to stop giving people in the country hand outs. My grandmother is on assitance and you know what my parents still pay for over 60% of her expenses. They don't have degrees just good work ethic and the desire to better themselves. Wake up and do your research. Talk to an accountant about what you will save in Property Tax versus what you will pay in Sales Tax. Seriously I wish people would crunch the numbers, and put in the work. Crunch them yourself, not what the news, candidate or your best friend tells you. Do it yourself, become an informed voter and stop putting people in power that vote along party lines (to make sure they get the credit) and elect and support people that do what is best for the state.  (Mar 10, 2008 | post #155)

Sir you really have no clue what you are talking about. I have seen you on here grandstanding about "Ditch Mitch" "Ditch Mitch" and you have no idea what he as accomplished. Look at the Laundry list of problems the administrations before him left and look at what he has solved. Then sent down and eat your piece of humble pie. You have absolutely no clue!  (Mar 10, 2008 | post #114)
