Schools take action against MRSA

MRSA is getting a lot of news with problems occurring in schools. This just shows how much we need to have qualified school nurses in the schools today. MRSA is only one of the problems. Children today are attending school with a variety of chronic illnesses. Schools are bigger and more crowded and less student friendly. The school nurse is trusted by children for help with potential health problems, including psycho-social problems like depression and anger. Our organization was created by dedicated Registered Nurses and parents who are concerned that children are not getting what they need in school today. Take a look at our website . Maybe we can help your school to take better care of your child.  (Nov 15, 2007 | post #1)

Nacogdoches school reports new fad called 'scrubbing'

We've seen many things like this while working in the schools. A good school nurse can help children to understand good health. The nurse also is the first to observe problems like this. Take a look at our website . If we can help you, let us know. We have years of background in school nursing and now want to help others to develop stable, economical, efficient programs so all children can have the benefit of a school nurse.  (Nov 15, 2007 | post #1)

Provide money for school nurses

We want to help. Take a look at our website: We're advocates for school nursing and can offer assistance to government agencies, schools, health departments, etc., with ideas on how to develop funding, policies and protocols, standardized forms -- whatever your needs are. We're a nonprofit with years of background and experience in developing and running school nurse programs and now we want to help others to get started. Children can't learn if they don't feel well!  (Nov 15, 2007 | post #1)

School Nursing

I'm with an organization that advocates school nurses as a necessity for children's health in school. Check out our site at Do your children have a school nurse, and is that really a nurse or just a part-timer the school puts in the health room? Children who don't feel well don't learn well.  (Oct 14, 2007 | post #1)
