Rift in Sierra County Government Leadership The Commiss...

Does anyone see the irony of the big headline on the front page go this week's Herald -- "County Adopts Budget With $257k Surplus". This after week's of them wringing their hands in the Herald over Bobby Allen and Ashbaughs claims we are in a budget crisis. Maybe Allen should actually read the budget. The Herald is used as a puppet once again, and doesn't bother to verify if the accusations have any truth to them. Now again, about that budget crisis . investigation into illegal roping . . . BLM cease and desist letter . . . Jeff Duckatt is dead . . . So much investigative reporting, so little time.  (Jul 30, 2014 | post #25)

Wow, she is back in time to see the courts reject the 65 plaintiffs versus T or C case. That is, of course, unless the BLM cease and desist order really does show up. But that's unlikely.  (Jul 15, 2014 | post #23)

Pretty hot in Florida right now isn't it Deb? BTW, did that cease and desist order ever show up? And how is your investigative piece about the illegal roping going? I think you ought to tackle the Farmer's Market next, they make a profit there on that public property.  (Jul 3, 2014 | post #20)

Oh, I forgot, the BLM, like the state Conservation Department, is corrupt.  (Mar 7, 2014 | post #389)

Has anyone said why the BLM letter reported in the Herald by Deb Toomey is taking so long to get here?  (Mar 7, 2014 | post #388)

Feds Raid Sierra County Jail

Seems I remember January standing in the highway right-of-way with signs when she lead the recall against the person who kicked her butt for the commission seat (Mulcahy).  (Mar 3, 2014 | post #91)

I know one thing, after listening to the rumors and innuendo about anybody in this town who is successful, it is obvious jealousy is in play. Because of the hateful untrue posts I just voted for Kathy Clark. If a bunch of losers with nothing to do but slander someone on here hates her, she must be in the right.  (Feb 20, 2014 | post #42)

Janice can you give us an idea when the cease and desist order will be applied? when will the KOB story be aired? Can you tell us that? I'd like to watch it.  (Oct 26, 2013 | post #225)

Difference between judge discretion and judge order, Ms. Toomey. Your 65 plaintiffs may be sheep, but the rest of us know you're "flocked " on this case. And it couldn't be sweeter.  (Oct 26, 2013 | post #224)

Another flat-out lie Deb/Janice. Judge Kase absolutely did not ORDER the bizarre self-cross examination that was reminiscent of an Abbott & Costello routine. You proposed it to the court, and Judge Kase (albeit reluctantly) agreed to proceed. I was there. You'd better stick with that mirror.  (Oct 25, 2013 | post #197)

A sad reality when you realize supermarket tabloids have more credibility than The Herald. But thanks to Kathleen and the (non)editor/management, it's true. Fact is, maybe it should start reporting alien, Elvis and Bigfoot sightings, instead of using rumors and stories sourced by unnamed tipsters and habitual litigators.  (Oct 18, 2013 | post #146)
