Who do you support for Governor in New Mexico in 2010?

Oh well. Denish had experience and compassion and intelligence, etc., but the "smart" voters of NM decided "eh, our state doesn't have a need for water, anyway. Let's elect that unethical, corrupt woman and let her give NM's water to Texas." You're welcome, Texas. Hope you don't waste the multiple gifts you will be getting from your neighbor. Hey neighbor, could you possibly spare an egg? No? Oh. Okay. You're right, baking/cooking without water would be stupid. Thanks for pointing that out. It's hard to think sometimes... we're really thirsty.  (Nov 28, 2010 | post #794)

Wow. You are a jerk. I hate myself for being a hypocrite and calling you a name, but, jeez, you are one peice of work. Why do you act so hatefully? Perhaps we need to ignore you on Soundoff. I think you could be a sociopath, i.e. the type of scary person that could kill a security guard in the Holocast Musuem. You're nicknames for everyone and everything are not that clever. I can't be the only one rolling my eyes. Even though I am not Christian, I respect Jesus Christ. He is actually one of my role models. I know a lot of republicans claim that their belief systems spring from their religious beliefs. Obviously from the hateful way you behave on Soundoff, this is not the case with you. That's fine, of course, this is America, Land of the Free, but just for kicks, you should be aware that Jesus Christ preached love, and kindness, and compassion, and generosity towards fellow man. God Bless The Whole World.  (Jun 18, 2009 | post #35)

Ok, so you ain't in favor of abortion. I do hope that your adopted children and your foster children are doing well. My mother should have aborted me. Neither of my parents like children. Life is hell. But, the good news is that the taxpayers of NM are paying for my therapy now (I get healthcare from the state)! Thank you taxpayers. I appreciate it, but I'm also sorry. You'd be saving if only my parents had made a better decision. Cute little babies grow up. I am mostly a productive member of society and have a job that helps people (and that nets little income). But, I am also a huge burden on society. It would be better if my parents would have terminated the growth of a few cells rather than allow a full human being to develop and live a sad life, suffering day after day after day. Why can't pro-life people understand that unwanted children grow up sad? Unwanted children live in abusive environments; do pro-life people get some sort of kinky sexual release from thinking about abused children? Or do pro-life people believe that unwanted children are miraculously born into a 50's sitcom? If that's so, I really want to know what drugs these people are taking. I would like to be taken far away from reality once in a while, too. Blood On His Hands, here's another reason you should support me being aborted: I'm an active democrap. I am a consequence of not being an abortion. I am sorry. I wish it was different. Seriously. p.s. please don't be mean to me. I can't take it. I am sorry to ask that, since this is a forum. I obviously think differently than you, blood on his hands. But, please find kindness and compassion for me, just this one time. Sometimes insults are really hurtful  (Jun 18, 2009 | post #19)

Several times recently, I have passed a group of people on the corner of Telshor and Lohman who are holding posters with religious-type statements on them. The thing is, these people are out there at 11 pm. Is there a reason they stand out there late at night? And can't they have someone with decent handwriting make the posters? It's pointless to communicate a message with floppy poster board and poor handwriting. What does "Life is like a vapor" mean? (If that's what the sign said... It might have said something about rape, but I can't be sure). Is that really a useful analogy for the general public? With this tactic, I'm less likely to think, "Yes, I'd like to be saved," and more likely to think, "I wonder how many beds MMC has available for the mentally ill."  (Jun 17, 2009 | post #72)

I can't understand people who find it acceptable to leave their shopping carts wherever they want. As 1 or 2 other people might know, there's a bin in the parking lot for the shopping carts. The parking space is not where you leave your cart. The handicapped parking space is not right either. Half-way up the trunk of a tree is, surprisingly enough, not where the shopping carts go. It's just self-centered. It takes 20-30 seconds to return the cart and place it neatly in the bin. My heavens, people are rude. The shopping cart problem fits in the same category as: Have you ever heard of a turn signal? Turn signals indicate that you realize you are not the only person on earth. It takes very little effort on the part of your hand muscles to activate the turn signal. It's common knowledge that shoving your shopping cart into the flowers, or switching lanes without signaling will keep you out of heaven... Why would God want to allow inconsiderate, selfish, and unkind people into utopia? ;)  (May 14, 2009 | post #110)

Fischmann pushes new TIDD legislation

I don't understand this hatred towards people from other countries, who are people with feelings and families and reasons for behaving the way they do. Our politicians and country music stars always say that the United States of America is the greatest country on earth. What makes it so? Our intolerance? Our high infant mortality rate? Our double standard when it comes to torture (ok for us to torture, but evil when other countries torture)? Our double standard when it comes to weapons of mass destruction (ok for us to have, not ok for non-allies to have)? Our sub-standard education system? Our enormous consumption of fossil fuels? I love many things about our country - but let's try to be a group of nice people. Let's try to be peaceful. Let's try to avoid being hypocrites. That is if we want to call our country the greatest... we should be able to prove it with our actions, not just with pretty words and phrases or with false pride. We already seized half of Mexico to fulfill the so-called [manifest] destiny of the "Anglo-Saxon democracy." The least we could do is not act like spoiled children who won't share the Earth that God gave us ALL.  (Feb 17, 2009 | post #8)
