Snack maker has taste for Brownsburg

Yeah, we don't like those foreigners. Those Mexicans should all leave. Same thing for the Asians, Middle Easterners, Africans, Jews, Germans, Polish, ....... but the Irish can stay, right? Your gonna let us Irish stay aren't ya? Oh, Gosh, we like to get drunk too! I have some British in me too, can they stay? I really wish my ancestors weren't imagrants who came to America looking for work. You all are lucky to be Native Americans. I will try to say hello to all of you when I visit your casino on the reservation.  (Mar 17, 2008 | post #34)

Farmland prices continue to jump across upper Midwest

Hey JACKazz! You caught me in a foul mood so I'll let you hear it for your idiot comments. I read all the time people like you calling houses cracker boxes and vinyl villages and other crap like that. I had my house built 15 years ago and it sounds like you hacking on my house. I've raised my family here. I like my house. In 1992 before we started having kids, I could afford a $85,000 house with vinyl siding but no way could we afford a $250,000 all brick model on a big lot. Where did you expect us to live? Sorry my house doesn't meet your standards. I feel like an idiot even thinking that the happiness my family has experienced living in a vinyl sided house was real. It had to be an illusion. Can we move into your garage? It would have to be better in your brick mansion than this little plastic doll house.  (Mar 9, 2008 | post #25)

I'm sorry, I'm having a bit of problem understanding what in the world your comment has to do with this story or anyone's comments. So before I go off on you or call you foul names, please explain yourself?  (Mar 9, 2008 | post #10)

State proposes roundabouts on U.S. 31

Sorry, I know I don't go back and read every post. I should of included the website listed below. Anyone who ever plans to drive on a RAB should watch this. http://www.wsdot.w a.gov/eesc/CAE/des ignvisualization/v ideo/Portfolio/Mod ern_Roundabouts/mp g_index.htm  (Feb 22, 2008 | post #81)

Steak n Shake finds no buyer

Some of you speak about the service and cleanliness of the stores. I really don't know. I've ove been there 3 times in my life......each time 10 years apart. The reason is that I never felt that I got VALUE for my money. Each time I left I felt a little stupid because I let myself get ripped off.  (Feb 22, 2008 | post #22)

More lanes do not exactly equate into more capacity. You could add a hundred lanes, but if they bottle neck and don't move, they are worthless. The key is to keep all the lanes moving. This why Hamilton county is upset with INDOT putting of I-69 upgrades. INDOT is right on that matter. All you would have is a bigger parking lot if 465 isn't fixed first.  (Feb 19, 2008 | post #66)

The lanes within the roundabout are more of an indication of where you are exiting, not where you enter. You have to be in the correct lane when you enter. Outside lane is for right turns and going straight only. Inside lane is for going straight, turning left, or even U-turns.  (Feb 19, 2008 | post #65)

Hey, "Cannot Fix Stupid", excellent input! I you have yet to look at the map, you need to. You thing Carmel has a bunch of roundabout, they have nothing compared to Peterborough. I wasn't sold on the idea of roundabouts on US31 until I saw this.  (Feb 18, 2008 | post #57)

Sally, your the **** . Look right above you first post. See, I gave a you a website to teach you how to drive a roundabout. I know you in Hamilton County tend to be a bit self absorbed but maybe the more you share this website, the less chance someone might hit your BMW. (By the way, why did you have to TELL us you drove a BMW??? If it makes you feel good, that's great. Do you not think the people INSIDE the the BMW are more valuable than the BMW?)  (Feb 16, 2008 | post #31)

My friend, you appear to be the Maroon, by hopefully I have some info you you that will cure your affliction. We in Hendricks county have opened 2 roundabouts in the past year. Sure, everyone was sceptical at first. We had two very ugly intersections, Dan Jones Rd & 100 South, and Raceway and Morris. Both intersection had a line of cars about a half mile long (no exageration) during the morning and evening commutes. Now we have these 2 roundabouts with more to come, traffic is flowing much better. At $3.00 a gallon, just the money saved on gas burned idling and waiting will pay for these pretty quick. Safety also is pretty good. I used to get held up by a wreck on Dan Jones at least once a week. Since roundabouts, I have yet to see one. Maybe we are just better drivers here in Hendricks County, or maybe the town of Avon did a good job of educating us on how to drive on roundabouts. Would you like to become educated? Grocer to shut Sunflower Market doors

Too bad it's closing. Organic stores are a good place for all the hippies to shop so the stay out of the regular stores. By the way, why do hippies eat organic to be healthy but still smoke so much freakin pot? Do the dealers market organic pot?  (Jan 28, 2008 | post #87)

State gives green light to coal plant

Democrat or Republican? Why in the hell do you have to lump me with two groups of thieving politicians???? I will survive if we have either in office. When we all are in trouble is when we have a tree hugging wacko running the country. But possibly even worse we could have a sell out like Bush ackowledging that Global Warming COULD be cause by humans. Nature causes more CO2 than humans create even if we set everything on fire. Earth has been here for billions of years even with nature creating CO2 all the while, it's still here. I believe Al Gore really thinks he can save the planet...heck, anyone who invented the internet can do anything.....  (Jan 27, 2008 | post #145)

I agree 100%. 30 years ago, the tree huggers got scared by 3 Mile Island and we haven't built one since. Never mind the fact that technology has advanced to the point that now the tree huggers like it. If the tree huggers would have used their heads and not been lead a round like sheep by folks like Al Gore, we'd probably be using 100% nuclear by now and we'd be an oil exporter instead of funding terrorism at $100 a barrrel like we are now.  (Jan 26, 2008 | post #133)
