To the left of CVS where Jacks place is (the bar) or across from where Watson's Car dealership was. There's also one of those cash places that borrow you cash for an outrageous fee. Shs's super nice, I've brought a few things in to her and she does a great job. (Saturday Nov 14 | post #5)
Police Chase Ends In Crash and Cop Car On My Lawn!
I live right around there but a little farther down on Trumbull. My parents live on 145th Abbottsford. WoW! So they never caught the guy? Was the car stolen? (Friday Nov 13 | post #2)
I just noticed this business a few weeks ago, I have no idea how long she has been there, but she is GREAT!! I've brought a few things in to her and each time she does a GOOD job and charges VERY reasonable. If you need anything done, give her a try, I don't think you would be disappointed!! She's located right behind CVS. Let's try to keep our business in Midlothian!! (Friday Nov 13 | post #1)
I never interuppted the officers, I went about my business. I figured I would post it later on Topix and usually WW1 would know the answer to my question and answer it. I was never irritated by them closing down the roads, I just simply wanted to know what happened. We never hear about it from the village and I didn't know if it was another hold up and car chase that ended badly. Before you jump down posters throats for asking a question, take a deep breath and reread it. PLEASE!! THANK YOU!! I use this site for very helpful info, don't need anyone writing nasty responses to my questions. It discourages me from posting. Thank you for answering my original question. (Monday Nov 9 | post #48)
So why didn't you just answer my original question about what happened??? (Friday Nov 6 | post #41)
The whole reason for my post is to find out what happened and WHY the streets were closed, I don't remember complaining that the street was closed especially since I didn't have to turn down there. Before you post why don't you take the stick out of your a$$ and relax. (Wednesday Nov 4 | post #24)
I heard the accident happened by Bremen HS, so I dont know why they closed the street off that far away. (Tuesday Nov 3 | post #21)
Does anyone know why the cops had 147th & Pulaski blocked around 8:00 on Halloween?? They wouldn't let you turn left onto Pulaski. I heard something about a car accident. (Tuesday Nov 3 | post #15)

crime scene at 147th and Ridgeland
A body discovered this morning in a Cook County forest preserve is that of a Midlothian man who has been missing for almost two weeks, his sister Sabri Ali said this afternoon. Tariq Ali, 28, who lived with his parents in the 14400 block of Tripp Avenue, was last seen by his parents about 11 p.m. Sept. 13, his sister said. Tariq's mother, Ranetta Ali, said officials told the family this afternoon that his death is an apparent suicide. Forest Preserve Police Chief Rich Waszak said that around 9 a.m. this morning two joggers noticed an odd smell and then found a body in the weeds at the Goose Field Grove preserves near 147th Street and Ridgeland Avenue. The body was found 10 to 15 feet off the trail, about a mile into the forest preserve, forest preserve spokesman Steve Mayberry said. How sad! My heart and prayers go out to all of his family and friends. (Sep 24, 2009 | post #10)
