Johnson pot position could burn potential presidential bid

Hmmmm. The only thing I remeber Johnson doing was taking much publicised skydiving jumps off Sandia Crest and planning mountain climbing trips. Seems like these activites of his were mentioned in the state newspapers more than his ability to govern.  (Mar 30, 2011 | post #11)

Film and Media Day to showcase mega casting call

This is 'nice' but why do individuals who want to be in film and/or television have to go all the way to Santa Fe? Couldn't a 'meet-and-greet' be held in the southern part of the state at sometime...OR....do we continue to perpetuate the idea that New Mexico really ends at an imaginary line drawn south of Belen, NM or if you are generous, south of Socorro, NM ? Also, having such an invent such as this in the middle of the work week from 10:00-4:00 will preclude alot of people from attending. Lastly, please do tell me it is because of the legislature.  (Feb 11, 2011 | post #1)

El Paso Electric plans more power outages from 5 to 10 p....

I am not an electrical engineer but if I understand the reports I have heard, the problems seem to be related to portions of the generating equiptment becoming frozen because of the cold. Now, it would seem that if this is the case, and assuming something like this has happened to other electric companies in the world, then someone by now would have 'invented' a method to keep whatever freezes that impacts the distribution of electricity. I lived in Germany from 1981-1989 and never once had disruption of electricity in the worst of winter storms and bitter cold.  (Feb 2, 2011 | post #11)
