Red Bluff man suspected of molestation

We all want to lynch child molesters. That's what we are thinking. You perhaps have a different view?  (Mar 7, 2011 | post #4)

Red Bluff Police: Teen arrested in burglary

This kid is not a hero or even a proficient criminal. His attempt was lame at best. He did this in the front of the building under a light! He was witnessed also. You just cannot feel sorry for such a blatant dufus.I assure you though, Mr. Hale had better not show up here again. You got your one chance at glory dip chit, now stay gone or you will wish you were still in jail. Thanks for playing!  (Feb 23, 2011 | post #13)

Red Bluff OKs PATH shelter

Interesting! One would think that ol' Richard would have a big rainbow colored welcome sign with unicorns and stars on it proclaiming warm and fuzzy greetings to the poor and homeless. What up Mazz?? Why the ominous warnings to stay off? I needs me a handout! Hope he don't have guard dogs too!! LOL!!!!!  (Feb 17, 2011 | post #8)

Jon Blankenship, Red Bluff: Response

I totally agree.Until people get back control of their own freedoms, the outlook is bleak. Society today seems to be turning out apathetic, lazy, and greedy young adults.Big government,be it flavored right or left, is still our biggest threat. It has become a self perpetuating all-consuming parasite that will in the end kill it's host.( the American people). When the host dies so does the parasite. You are right Now One, History has shown that every civilization no matter how large and powerful, will fall.We all need to think about that and work to preserve our freedom.  (Feb 17, 2011 | post #8)

Death Penalty - Red Bluff, CA

If a person opens fire on innocent and unarmed citizens, that person should be shot dead IMMEDIATELY. That way, it sends a message to all would be offenders, and takes care of this issue at the same time.  (Feb 8, 2011 | post #3)

Richard Mazzucchi - Positive Point: Is shelter and encour...

Richard, I agree that homeless people need our help. However, I don't agree that the property owner's concerns should be painted with such an apathetic brush and dismissed off handedly in such a manner as you did. The people who own properties in proximity to the proposed shelter do have a legitimate concern about the value that may be lost because of this. It always seems so easy for you to color your own ideals with rainbows and gold stars, while stomping other's concerns in the mud. Bigots, haters, naysayers. Any one who does not agree seems to fall into one or all of these categories to you. People who work hard and sacrifice to own property should be heard and respected. It is always easy for you to deride and diminish anyone who has more than the homeless. You cannot honestly say that these types would not bring crime and filth to the area. There are alot of good people that really do need help and would be grateful. For them, I wish the best. Most though, are homeless because of repetitive bad choices and learn nothing no matter what they are given. It is this mentality that the property owners are afraid of. I can't say as I blame them. If there is a million dollar grant available, then why not build the shelter away from established homes?Get a property that they can grow food on and maybe some livestock. That would keep them busy and also be productive.  (Jan 31, 2011 | post #2)

Al Davis gives state of the Raiders

Al has needed to let go for years now. But, his daughter is next in line and I don't have such a great feeling about her running the show either. I have been a Raiders fan since I knew what football was. Back in the Stabler days if I have to date myself. This organization needs some football minded leadership not business type egos.  (Jan 19, 2011 | post #9)

I have to agree 100% Re.Go thru his posts and count the times he uses the term "vitriolic rhetoric, and sustainable". His posts seem to be turning into a form letter response no matter what the thread.I hope that he realizes how closely he resembles the very thing he rants against.I do agree that he does seem intelligent and articulate most of the time and in this case I felt the same about his post until the very same place you noticed. He then ran off the rails into the left ditch for no apparent reason............ ........  (Jan 19, 2011 | post #11)

Red Bluff, one of the best in the west

Hmm that dock doesn't seem to be a million dollars worth! But, you are the one who seems worried about it. I am in agreement that perhaps it should not have been spent if they knew the lake was going to be gone. I still don't agree that the lake should be gone though. It really will detract from the good of the town. Having it here was one of my favorite things. Why you see that as whining is beyond me but I don't really care as you are certainly entitled to your opinion. The money they are spending on the pump station could most definitely have been used to improve the safe passage of salmon.  (Jan 17, 2011 | post #29)
