It's the Darwin crowd that lacks the facts in evolution d...

Thank you, but sorry, I do not have the time or energy to take on the role of a moderator. I did observe what takes place here for some time in the past, and that has enabled me to observe that you often twist data in your favor, and frustrate your opponents with clever use of your language skills. I am in search of truth, not debating skills.  (May 20, 2013 | post #115995)

Ten Reason Why Evolution Is a Lie

My community? what community? What missing link? You have to be specific because what was considered missing in Darwin's time is no longer missing. Have your sources not informed you of this? Do you know of anything not written by men or women? Why don't you open your own eyes?  (Apr 16, 2013 | post #1147)

Is this about semantics? Or is it a joke? You think you are the greatest (sign of a super inflated ego) and since you are also a being, you consider yourself as a supreme being, aka God. Is that it? Me? I will settle for a simple human being. I thought you were into philosophy - perhaps I wasted my time.  (Apr 15, 2013 | post #86398)

Did I affiliate you with anything? All I did was ask a question whether what you are saying is "Aham Brahmasmi", I made no other assumption about you except try to understand what you were saying. "Aham Brahmasmi" is Sanskrit, and it literally means "I am God". This is Hindu philosophy in case you didn't know about it before. You were also saying that you are God; the coincidence was uncanny, and so I just asked a question. You haven't answered yet.  (Apr 15, 2013 | post #86376)

Please excuse me for the tardiness. I don't get much time these days. Instead of Dogen's approach, let us talk about yours. I have praised your debating talents many times. You are able to survive and thrive in this forum where there is essentially no moderator or judge to control what is going on. Will you have the same success if there were an impartial, honest judge/moderator who will call on you whenever you play fast and loose with data? I think not. But in this unmoderated forum, with your skill with language and ability to twist any data in your favor, you often frustrate your opponents. Do you really challenge what you believe? I don't think so.  (Apr 15, 2013 | post #113985)

I watch when I have time, which recently, I haven't had. I am genuinely curious when someone rejects one of the most supported theory in science, I want to understand why people tend to believe in books written 2000 years ago literally, when they are best taken allegorically. As far as I know Dogen and I are on the same side of the fence as far as evolution is concerned, broadly speaking. So you can see why my subject of interest is people like you. Also I am not under any illusion that I will be able to change your mind through a debate like this.  (Apr 8, 2013 | post #113701)

That is not a new idea - the idea of God being formless. If you look through the scriptures of Judaism and Christianity, you can find many places where the idea that the true form of God is beyond our understanding is brought out. Islam even forbids to make an image of God. Eastern religions like Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, and Taoism also affirm similar ideas in different words. The best explanation of God that I like comes from Hinduism. It states simply thus: "Neti Neti" which is in Sanskrit and literally translates to "Not this, not that" Cryptic, as is often the case with Sanskrit scriptures, so a little explanation: "If you think God is this, then it is not that. It is beyond our understanding " The idea that God created man in his image is the most arrogant and narcissistic notion. The truth is that men created God in their image.  (Apr 7, 2013 | post #85267)

Most of the above. Most are good skills to have in a debate. One question: Do you think you had KAB pinned down at any point? If you did, then watch his next post and see how he extricates himself out of it.  (Apr 7, 2013 | post #113607)

If I wanted to discuss Dogen's behavior or actions or my observations of him, I would prefer to do that directly with Dogen. Anyway, I have not paid that close attention to Dogen. As I said before you are a very good debater, so I paid attention to you. I would say that this was a clumpsy attempt to draw me into a debate. You should really pay attention to your own grip on reality.  (Apr 6, 2013 | post #113594)

I would join you if you were sincere about being focused on data. I have watched you long KAB; you are focused on cherry picking data, and creating smoke screens, confusions and mis-directions when the data wont support your case. But you are a master at that - I will grant you that. Join you? I am afraid not, but I enjoy watching you.  (Apr 5, 2013 | post #113573)
