Three candidates vying for Herkimer Family Court Judge po...

Mary had done work for me a few years back and did a fine job. I believe she was perfectly capable of completing the task at hand, and she did.Her focus on getting everything just right was comforting to me. If elected to the family court judge position, I know Mary will be fare, and always take the childrens best interest serious. She has been around that court system a long time and knows what it will take to be the best next family court judge. Good luck Mary.  (May 2, 2010 | post #66)

Feds fine Toyota $16M

wow and wonc, I'm not full of shyt. The mileage is as I stated. I only commute a half mile each way to get to work. The vehicle may have had some damage prior to me owning it, but it checked out fine on two different used vehicle reports. If I knew how to show the receipts for repairs done on that silverdildo I would do that to prove my point.I owned a 2000 silverado and mechanically it was fine, the tail gait would not stay shut, and the passenger side window work on occassion, I also owned a 1996 silverado that no GM garage could figure out why it would not fire on the number 8 cylinder. I've owned two F-150's with no problems at all. I chose the fj cruiser because it has one of the highest resale figures in the market today. The fj is also one of the most reliable vehicles on the road. I only have put 900 miles on it so far, and with my track record owning vehicles, I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this on. AND I AM NOT A JAP CAR LOVER. Nothing wrong in giving them a chance. And as far as not taking care of my vehicles, maybe you should talk to my wife about that one. Shes complaining that I rub and scrub and take better care of my harley and trucks than I do her. So keep being a smart ass it will get you no where. By the way why havent you posted your name, what are you hiding for?  (Apr 12, 2010 | post #44)

I certainly am using my real name. Why in hell would I do anything less. I speak the truth, and the people that I refer to have already harassed me and the rest of our neighborhood for the past few years. I fear little, cameras are set so that if anything odd happens around my property I will know who did it. One has to be smart enough to cover all his bases when you play the game the way I do.Some people are just plain stupid, and you cant fix stupid, so if someone choses to screw with me or my family, my bases are covered.  (Apr 12, 2010 | post #19)

Candidates huff and puff over pot vote

there was a study done in the eighties by great britain and funded by the USA. the study was suposed to prove that smokin pot was just as bad to do while driving as drinking alcohol and driving. the study back fired, people who smoked pot and drove were driving slower making it easier for them to respond to situations they were confronted with. as a matter of fact they drove safer than people who consumed no mind altering substances, due to the fact they drove slower and concentrated better on the task at hand. To bad the government didnt want you to know about this.  (Apr 11, 2010 | post #76)

U.S. regulators to seek $16.4m Toyota fine

what about lives lost in the ford pinto problem. or the crown vic deal, effecting a lot of law enforcement vehicles. wake up, this is about US regulators trying to cover up the fact they didnt do their job, so lets blame it on the japanese.  (Apr 11, 2010 | post #8)

yeah I supose it is strange on this site for someone to come forward with whom they are and state the facts instead of a line of BS.If that makes me demented well then I guess I take pride in being that way. Punky, the reason strange and ur strange, probably the same person, feel this way is because they don,t know how to except brutal honesty. If I were to guess I would say the two post that tell me I,m demented are from the person I posted about prior. They are to chicken shyt to give their real names. When it comes to bashing people, one should not have to hide behind an anonymous name.  (Apr 11, 2010 | post #14)

I have recently posted comments on this site about certain individuals, yes maybe a last name was revealed. If a person can not exspress what he knows to be fact, then I beleive his civil rights would be violated by not allowing freedom of speech or exspression. I havent threatened anybody, told anybody to go kill themselves or anything of that matter. All I want is to live in peace, at home, without being bullied and harrassed by the indivduals that I posted about.  (Apr 11, 2010 | post #10)

Tea Party boiling in 18th District

If the super rich on this planet want to control everything from the side lines, why dont they step up to the plate and try running the countries they live in without taking a pay check. That goes for all government workers. quit stealing from the middle class of this country. The middle class citizen is helping to fund the problems of a planet, lets take care of the good old USA.I'm not trying to be a bad ass, just wanting to see the people of this country live a peaceful, and healthy life.  (Apr 11, 2010 | post #16)

A look at Massey Energy's plan to double its production o...

This is a terrible time for the families of this mining disaster. Once again our government regulators have only completed a small portion of the job they are suposed to do.This kind of makes you wonder what government official was having his or her palm greased with Masseys money. To not follow through and shut that mine down or have Massey make the working conditions safe for those employees is alarming to say the least. We pay government workers to represent us on a multitude of different aspects, and to not see to it that people have safe working conditions in this country is a crime.I feel Massey should pay huge fines, give massive settlements to the families effected by this loss, and fix the problems as they arise, not when someone dies. Our government is as much at fault for this as is Massey. Again, GREED will be the end to all humanity eventually, and the way things are going around this planet right now, it does'nt seem like it's to far off. We need to make changes now, or keep on suffering for the benefit of the rich.  (Apr 11, 2010 | post #1)

U.S. regulators to seek $16.4m Toyota fine

US regulators should be fired because they failed to do their job. If the european countries knew about this, then the US regulators should have been all over this problem. Where were they? Sitting on their lazy asses collecting a paycheck from the middle class americans that provide them with most of their income. Arent they suposed to be helping to protect americans by regulating? Just more corruption, they'll cover their butts by blaming Toyota for the lack of interest in doing their jobs properly.Toyota will survive.  (Apr 11, 2010 | post #4)

Feds fine Toyota $16M

I have owned GM trucks for years, the last a 2006 silverado. This vehicle had a problem with the steering shaft which GM knew about but failed to tell people. Also two serpentine belts replaced, front and rear seals in the transmition, barametric pressure sensor, blower motor resistor, two front end alignments, which wore out all four tires because the GM garage that serviced it could'nt figure out the problem. The last straw was tha antilock brakes, they were engaging without even hitting the brake peddle. All this happened on a vehicle with less than 30000 miles on it, and problems started with aprox. 11000 miles. I will never own another GM product again. I recently traded the silverdildo in for a Toyota FJ Cruiser and i love it,it is the first foreign vehicle and hopefully the last vehicle I'll have to buy. I beleive the Toyotas that are recalled where produced in the good old USA. I have been told if you choose to buy a Toyota look for the letter J at the beginning of the VIN number. This means the vehicle was produced in Japan. It's to bad that corperate greed has to be the culprit in dragging down the quality of most every product on the markets today. The bottom line is to do your home work before you make any major purchase, if you don't it may cost you.  (Apr 11, 2010 | post #22)
