Hermes bag

For a sporty look, Hermes created the Evelyne shoulder bag for weekends and walkabouts. The canvas shoulder strap provides comfortable support when you wear the bag messenger style, or over the shoulder. The perforated “H” design on one side identifies your bag loyalty, but also keeps the purse on the light side. It is made of black togo leather and golden hardware. The shape is a rounded saddle shape. H logo is in front. Top has a strap opening with a snap closure. Inside is unlined. The shoulder strap falls about 18. ------------------ ----www.topbagzone .com  (20 hrs ago | post #1)

Miumiu bag

Ladies and gentlemen, I have posted this bag for one reason and one reason only: to demonstrate a leather-finishing effect that I truly and completely despise. Other than the quasi-shiny effect, I really like the Miu Miu Distressed Leather Hobo. The shape is good, the color is interesting and uncommon, and the handle detail is a nice, subtle touch. If it wasn’t for the infuriatingly terrible finish they put on the leather, I’d be all about this one. Why in the world do designers EVER do this? It’s somewhere in Leather Effect Purgatory between regular and patent, and it doesn’t do a bag any favors. It mostly has one of the following effects: it makes the leather look like it’s not actually leather, it makes the leather look thin, or it makes the leather look stiff. What it almost ALWAYS does is make the bag look cheap - I see a lot of PVC bags at Target with identical finishes, and whenever I see something like this, that’s always what it brings to mind. A finish like this is also pretty much a guarantee that the bag won’t be soft to the touch. There are few things that you can do to a bag that I like less than what they’ve done to this one, and it’s a really shame - it could have been a winner. -----------------w ww.luxurynavi.com  (Monday Dec 14 | post #1)

replica Hermes bag

I completely baby my Hermes Birkin. I only own one and it is my holy grail. I specifically remember learning about the infamous Birkin Bag first my sophomore year in high school. A “wait list” I asked? What kind of price tag? It seemed shocking, but my friend and I made a pact to own a Birkin at some point in our lives. I made a point to call her when I got mine two years ago.The one piece of advice I would give anyone waiting for a Birkin: Wait until you can get the exact bag of your dreams. Want a specific color, hardware, size, leather: Wait for it. When spending that much on a handbag, you should get the exact bag you wished for. I got mine, a 30 cm Blue Jean Birkin in Togo leather with Palladium hardware. Yesterday we took her out for a photo shoot. The sky was perfectly blue and the sun was radiating, though it was so unbearably hot that I flooded my body with bottles of water until I felt the urge to fall off that bridge and float away. The Blue Jean color from Hermes is widely recognized and widely sought after. I love the splash of color, which works for every season and every color palette. And the bag itself, a work of art. -----------www.lux urynavi.com  (Sunday Dec 13 | post #1)

replica Prada bag for sale

Hot of the Fall/Winter runway collection, the Prada Velluto Jacquard Tote is hitting stores. Our verdict: no thanks. The pictures and description leave much to be desired. There is the rust cheetahprint velvet jacquard version or the midnight floral print velvet jacquard tote. On the Neiman Marcus website, these Prada bags leave much to be desired. They look more like an art-project than a runway bag. But when I ran across the ad from the Prada Fall/Winter Ad Campaign I began to see some beauty in these designs. Shown with the models who are rocking frizzy hair, serious looks, and sultry hues, these Prada totes begin to come to life. Not an everyday bag, but in the right situation either of these bags could pop. Then again, we all know that the right setting and photographer can transform items, in both a positive and negative way. Is it that the stock image on Neimans does not do the bag justice or that the ad does the bag too much justice? What are your thoughts? -----------www.lux urynavi.com  (Friday Dec 11 | post #1)

LV handbag

I’ve been on the look recently for a very tiny pouch or wristlet to use as a clutch. I want something small enough to fit easily in my hand that will hold only the very essentials - house key, car key, ID, cash, phone. But the phone is where I’m hitting an impasse, because I have an enormous Blackberry with an even more enormous clear plastic shell to keep it safe (gotta brag for a minute - it’s one of the new click-screen ones! I love it!). As such, the thing is approximately the size of a small computer, and even if I can find a wristlet into which it fits, nothing else will fit alongside it. So I’ve decided to get a bit creative in my current search, and this morning came across something that could potentially work very well - the Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Cosmetic Pouch MM. I realize that it’s meant to hold lipsticks and whatnot inside of a larger bag, but since it doesn’t have cosmetic pouch emblazoned on it anywhere, I doubt anyone would know the difference. Besides, I’m all for repurposing things (kinda of like the tv stand holding the microwave in my kitchen. Ahem). At any rate, it looks like it’s just small enough to fit in my hand while being just big enough to contain my giant brick of a phone, and it zips all the way across the top, lest I drop it or hit anyone in the head with it. Perfect! On top of all that, amarante is my favorite color of LV vernis ever and would go really well with all the black I tend to wear. Now if only LV ever went on sale. ----------www.luxu rynavi.com  (Wednesday Dec 9 | post #1)

Dior bag

Why? Seriously, that is all I keep thinking when I look at this bag. And, I’m not even talking about the price… yet. I’m just going to start off by saying, the Dior Samourai 1947 Woven Bag is a definite no-go for me. I am sure that hours of work go into putting this bag together, but, it’s just not working for me. The textural grained leather woven together like a basket looks way too busy. Now, add the leather handles with tie detailing and serpent ring attachments and you’ve got yourself a bag worthy of a headache. The other thing that bothers me about this bag is that the leather doesn’t even look soft. Beyond that the handles appear to be practically painful. I mean look at the handles, doesn’t it seem like if you were to go and grab the bag as you run out the door that there is a good chance you would scratch yourself? In the end, this bag is far too ornate for me. There are plenty of other Dior handbags I would consider buying before this one. And I hope you are ready for this, you would need to put down quite a few of your precious pennies in order to take this bag home with you. If you can pull of this bag, go for it, but it’s not for me. ---------www.luxur ynavi.com  (Friday Dec 4 | post #1)

Louis Vuitton bag

I know that the Stephen Sprouse collections have been a bit controversial among the Louis Vuitton crowd, but for some reason, I can’t help but like them. Perhaps it’s because I’m a fan of the Sprouse aesthetic in general, or maybe because my generation is probably the target audience for pop-art fashion, or maybe it’s just because my personal taste can, at times, venture to the ridiculous. For whatever reason, I wish I had unlimited funds and a reason to own something like the Louis Vuitton Monogram Graffiti Neverfull GM. As with all Neverfulls, I wish the strap was thicker, and if it was it would make a perfect school bag for a college kid that has everything (and I knew one or two of those during my undergrad years). Because of the utter ridiculousness of the bag - orange writing over brown and tan monogram - it’s one of those bags that you really wouldn’t need to try and match to anything. It’s iconic enough on it’s own that the only thing I would seriously advise against wearing it with would be another bold pattern. Other than that, go to town - wear it with whatever, but be proud. It’s the type of bag that you really have to own to pull it off. -------www.topbagz one.com  (Tuesday Dec 1 | post #1)

Mulberry bag

Sometimes when I pick a bag to write about, I know I’m asking for trouble. I don’t mind the disagreement, though - I possess that rare and endearing quality of always thinking I’m right, no matter what (that IS endearing, right? No? Oh). So I present, without fear, the Mulberry Metallic Croc Print Bayswater. Super shiny? Yes, it is. Stamped with an exotic texture? Yes, that too. Too big to pull it off? Probably, but I really like it anyway, and you can’t convince me otherwise. Despite the fact that its texture is mirror-slick and not distressed like the metallics I usually prefer, the fact that they used a gunmetal silver instead of a bright, blue-based silver is really winning me over. The texture reminds me of a much less expensive, much more useful version of the Balenciaga Metallic Crocodile Wristlet we’ve talked about recently. I’d choose the Bal in a second, but since I don’t think my credit card limit is that high, the Mulberry version seems like a fun substitute that might actually hold some of my stuff. ------------www.lu xurynavi.com  (Monday Nov 30 | post #1)

Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs is, easily, one of my favorite bag designers of all time. I love all the wacky stuff Louis Vuitton has done under his creative leadership, and I love both of his signature labels. He lost me a bit last season, though…some of his bags were kinda misshapen, am I right? And the colors were a bit drap. And had a random stud or two on them. In any case, I think those were a rare misstep for a brilliant designer. Even MJ is human, and everyone makes mistakes. What is NOT a mistake, though, is the new Marc Jacobs Large Leather Tote. I see it as a perfect work bag for those who are lucky enough to work in a slightly laid-back environment. It’s rendered in staid black leather, but Marc manages to get the stud detailing right with this one, having it accent the strap attachments (instead of, you know, just being stuck on there randomly). I’m not sure I entirely agree with the price, but if you’ve got the cash, go for it! ----www.luxurynavi .com  (Wednesday Nov 25 | post #1)

Hermes Birkin(replica) on sale

Alright, I’ll admit it. I haven’t been overly friendly to Fendi in the past. You might even say I’ve been critical; some would say overly critical. I just say honest. But not only is the Fendi Sfilata Divided Satchel a major It Bag for spring, but I actually love it. It has its faults, don’t get me wrong. Most obviously, that it looks an awful lot like an Hermes Kelly. But the Kelly is a timeless shape, and one that many other brands have bogarted (I’m looking at you, Chanel), so you can hardly blame Fendi for giving us their own version. Theirs has a bit of slouch and distressing to it that the Hermes model is certainly not known for, and it may be designed in a way that is actually a good bit more functional. Instead of a flap, the Sfilata Satchel has a turnlock closure on both sides and what appears to be a fairly rigid divider down the middle (or perhaps only the top is rigid - hard to tell). For all of you organized women out there (of which I am certainly not one), something like this has to be a great way to help keep your purse neat and tidy, especially compared to a giant slouchy hobo that turns into a handbag black hole and eats your stuff (which describes, oh, basically all of my bags). ---------www.luxur ynavi.com  (Monday Nov 23 | post #1)

Prada bag

Oh, thank you God, finally. My handbags prayers have been answered. Because Prada has made some questionable handbags lately, and for a designer so known for their bags, it was getting kind of discouraged. The Prada St. Pitone Tote is not my favorite bag that I’ve ever seen, but it’s a strong improvement over the randomly bedazzled bags we’ve seen from the brand lately. The tote takes a cue from their diffusion Miu Miu line’s very successful Bow Satchel with its side adornment, although this tote’s finishing is a little looser and softer. Combine that with a beautiful, large-scale python skin and and some cute top handles, and Prada’s got a great satchel on their hands that will likely sell very well for them. Now if only they’d get away from that habit of sticking random stuff to their bags that has grown so tiresome. ---------www.topba gzone.com  (Sunday Nov 22 | post #1)
