Surface Water Advisory Issued for Lake Macatawa
I'm sure we will have the same advisory in GH soon after all this rain. Husband wanted to go jetskiing next week......we may have to wait. Very sad when the water we are surrounded by is polluted by sewage that isn't even ours! (Jun 8, 2008 | post #6)

I'm still amazed by the deaths of people from these storms due to road collapses and trees falling. It could happen to any one of us. Please post kind thoughts for the families. Does anyone know how old her kids are? They could be high school age, or college age. I don't think she should just be let go, or pardoned. I don't know what the right punishment should be. Either you like Walmart, or you don't. I choose not to shop there. I compared prices between Meijer and Walmart in Grand Haven on things I buy on a regular basis. The prices were the same, or Meijer was cheaper by a penny or two. Everytime I have been in Walmart in GH, you could throw a handfull of rocks and not hit anyone. There are more workers than customers. I'll stick with Meijer(s). We grew up calling it Meijers! LOL! Or Thrifty Acres. Remember the little dutch boy?
