Tim was invited to hold a town hall type meeting by the Lebanon 9-12 group and he declined. Also, on his tv ad he lists himself as a "conservative :, yet he voted 68% with Nancy Pelosi! What a misnomer!  (Oct 14, 2010 | post #10)

Anyone have memories of downtown Clementon in 50's or 60's?

I want to notify all present and former Clementonians about a book I just bought from Borders Books. It's entitled "Clementon " and written by Danielle Burroughs. The book gives a complete history of our town and there are scores of pictures, sure to delight the reader. I would encourage any person from our town to read this and share it with your friends.  (Oct 8, 2008 | post #46)

Hello Larry...I remember Batseys hill by Overbrook, but where was Monkey's Hill? I had a girlfriend in Williamstown and I would ride my bike from Clementon on that dirt back road that Mike's Little Zoo was located by the Nike base. You could also get there by taking the road past Hidden Lake.  (Sep 29, 2008 | post #42)

Hello Al..I saw in the yearbook that you were the division champion in wrestling at ORHS and later went to the state finals. How did you make out at that level? It's amazing what details one forgets until they come onto a site such as this one. Will you be attending the ORHS reunion in Nov?  (Sep 29, 2008 | post #41)

Hi Linda...the mention of the bonfires and the "snake dance" thru Clementon with the fire trucks leading the way. We always burned an effigy of that weeks football rival on the fire behind the bleachers, remember. I too remember seeing that film when it 1st came out. Screaming girls and stink bombs in the theater. Running out the side entrance or letting somebody in for free. It was all good back then.  (Sep 25, 2008 | post #37)
