AMERICA to become GREAT UNDER OBAMMY!

Obama isn't a terrorist. He's in a fight against terrorists, just like Bush. Just because we fight back, it doesn't make us terrorists.  (Jun 14, 2011 | post #20)

We're already being exposed to a little radiation with Perry. Plus a greater risk of serious mishaps. We don't need anymore radiation in the air.  (Apr 1, 2011 | post #2)

LEBRON JAMES: LeBron on Leaving Cleveland: 'I'm the Same ...

I believe the song goes "CLEVELAND ROCKS!" I'm over LeBron. He's a quitter. He's got so much talent, yet he gave up in the playoffs. I really hope he never wins a championship ring, because he doesn't deserve it.  (Mar 11, 2011 | post #206)

LEBRON JAMES: LeBron on Leaving Cleveland: 'I'm the Same ...

It's funny how people hate things just to have something to hate. Cleveland is a great city. I've lived near Cleveland my whole life. The sports fans deserve a championship, because we are loyal to our teams no matter what. We probably have the least amount of bandwagon fans. I wouldn't expect anyone who doesn't live here to know what it's like, but we are a great bunch of people... no matter what someone from Georgia might think.  (Jan 17, 2011 | post #166)

Okay, I agree with you about getting higher pay for items because of their public status. I still thought it was within the rules. I thought they weren't allowed to receive gifts or money. The items such as Big Ten championship rings or gold pants don't really qualify as gifts. They earned them & rightfully own them. No one should even know what they do with them once they own them. I bet a lot of players have sold things like that & never got caught.I think it might be morally wrong to try for the "big bucks" but isn't that what we all want? As for Tressel, he did comply with the NCAA ruling, so I don't think we should hold him responsible for playing them. They made it to the bowl game as a team, and he's still a coach who wants to win what they rightfully earned.  (Jan 6, 2011 | post #150)

hey

Sorry to butt in, but I just wanted to mention you were born exactly 1 week before me. I'm 11-23-71 - I hope she finds you. Maybe there are ways for you to find her? I guess it would be easier if it was a father, because you would know his last name.  (Jan 6, 2011 | post #2)

You're also saying that the fact that they are "professional s" made them a lot better than Arkansas's "amateurs. " How does selling stuff make them better football players?  (Jan 6, 2011 | post #140)

Professional" because they sold their own personal possessions? I must be some kind of professional. I sell stuff on Ebay all the time!  (Jan 6, 2011 | post #135)

Last time I checked, OSU doesn't make the schedule. How about the Big Ten teams getting better talent to their schools?  (Jan 5, 2011 | post #95)

If nothing else, they should get the suspension reduced to 2 or 3 games. They sold THEIR OWN property! They didn't receive any money or gifts illegally. Once it belongs to them, they should be able to do whatever they want. I think it was sweet justice that the suspended players had such a huge impact on the bowl game. Sugar never tasted so sweet!  (Jan 5, 2011 | post #9)

The 5 games that those players will miss are against crap teams, except for #5 - which is Michigan State. It's still possible for the 5 games to be reduced. The only thing it'll do to the first 4 games is make it not as much of a blowout. Big deal. I think it's sweet that 4 of the 5 suspended players had a big impact on the Sugar Bowl - ESPECIALLY the interception! IN..... YOUR..... FACE! LMAO. For those who think the suspensions are going to hurt OSU, I highly doubt it. Can't keep a great team down!  (Jan 5, 2011 | post #68)

I think it was because they never called it, and he regained his footing. Usually when you see that, there is no forward progress. If a receiver gets to the 40, gets knocked back to the 35 & then goes back forward to the 37 before being tackled, they'll mark it on the 37, not the 40.  (Jan 4, 2011 | post #5)

LeBron James

LEBRON JAMES: LeBron on Leaving Cleveland: 'I'm the Same ...

LeBron gave up in the playoffs. You could see it on several plays. He didn't want to win the championship in Cleveland in '09-'10. He's from this area, and he intentionally let us down. That's why we hate him. I hope Karma comes into play & he never wins a ring. He doesn't deserve it... Telling us we have a chance because he's on our team, then strutting his stuff on stage in a Miami uniform. He may be the greatest player in the NBA right now, but as a person, I'd have to say he's pretty low. Anyway, how many "superstar " caliber players does he need to win? The Cavs had the best record in the NBA the past two seasons. Jordan would've won it all.  (Jan 2, 2011 | post #162)

Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns: State of the Franchise Heading into The...

I thought the Browns were one year away from being contenders. After watching today's game, I can now see they are missing a lot more pieces than we thought. WR's aren't the only thing we lack. We had no pass rush, our O-line wasn't holding the Steelers' pass rush, they weren't opening any holes for our run game, our pass defense still isn't up to par. We can keep improving under Holmgren, but I don't see this team going anywhere in 2011. I hope they prove me wrong.  (Jan 2, 2011 | post #4)
