Sorry, ain't gonna let it go. The American people has the right to know about Obama's past associations. Pfleger has been a guest speaker at Trinity scores of times over two decades. This wasn't a one shot deal. Unlike William Ayres, Obama and Pfleger have been CLOSE FRIENDS for 19 years. If you have any close friends, than think about what you do with them. You visit each other's homes, eat each others food, socialize at gatherings, and TALK ABOUT WHAT YOUr PASSIONS ARE. So if you think that Obama doesn't know Pfleger's agenda, you are a buffoon. And just because a loony lefty says that "associations don't matter" that's a crock. Teaching your child to be careful of their associations is an American Family Value. So now, just because lefty loons want to cover for Obama, suddenly "associations don't matter"? It's not going to work, but it's not surprising that it's being tried. Lefty loons HATE America and it's traditional values. And if they are trying to take this one to cover Obama now, imagine what else will suddenly be taboo if Obama gets elected! Sorry freddy, I guess you haven't read any of Obama's books. Both (but in particular, the 1st one) DO have racists remarks. As far a "saying" anything racist, not where it's been recorded, but if his books are any indication (and they probably are) he definitely has said racist things around his "friends " Like Pfleger and Wright. Obama isn't as white as driven snow like ObamaBabies think he is (pun intended). NOBODY is. And that's what is so funny to the people that have a least a little logical thinking power left. All White Americans need to give up all they have as we are all responsible for slavery and all we have is from the benefits. This is Obama's 20 year FRIEND. Oh, and for you Jewish readers, did you know that Pfleger has made the statement that Farrakhan (sp?) is God's greatest gift to America? You seem like a nice lady. But here are the dynamics of Pfleger and Obama. Pfleger is a political activist. Has been for 20 years. He is not an ASSOCIATE of Obama's, he is a friend of over 19 years. The same kind of friend to Obama that your GOOD friends are to you. They visit each other's homes, they eat each other's food, they talk religion AND politics, etc. A reporter from a prominent Chicago newspaper, that has been following Obama's career since 1991 (and was a supporter when Obama was a State Senator) gave an interview last night and told how close the two (Pfleger/Obama)hav e been since 1991. Obama has, again, in the past made note that Pfleger was a close friend and spiritual adviser. Like Wright. This is not guilt by association like the Ayers issue. This an issue of what Obama REALLY believes when he surrounds himself with people that have Radical views that are outside of the mainstream American's understanding. Would you have been REAL friends with Rev Pfleger for 19 years, knowing he actually thinks like his rant last Sunday? Forget about Preacher, FRIENDS? Obama supporters, who defend him at every gaffe and judgment mistake, seem to have a problem with time recognition. Pfleger AND Wright have been a HUGE impact on Obama's political growth, and, I fear, his ideology, for 20 YEARS! A lot of Obama supporters haven't even been alive for 20 years! This is not 20 minutes, 20 weeks, etc, but 20 YEARS! For a normal person, this is enough time to have several major life changes. If you are old enough, think what changes YOU have gone through in the last 20 years. Where were you then compared to now? For anyone not caught up in Obamania, it is easy to see that Obama's ASSOCIATES and friends could very well have influenced him. All of the ones we know of SO FAR are powerful figures and are INTENT on influencing others. Regardless of the Superman that some people have elevated Obama to, he's still human. Well, think what you will, but I cannot even comprehend that Obama would associate with these people (that he has condemned, LATELY) for 20 YEARS and not agree with them on these subjects. THEY have not changed their message in the last 20 years. That's public record that Obama wants us to ignore. I guess it's only Obama that has changed his message, in the last four months. I don't believe him. And it's still five looong months until the GE. Gaffe-A-Day Obama just isn't going to make it. I hope you are right. However, if the democrats get a fillibuster proof Senate, WHICH IS A POSSIBILITY, then it won't matter how many people call in. The Republican Senate has been the only thing that has kept these Amnesties from going through. The Democrats don't care how much we holler. They think that we are all too stupid to know what's good for us, but they do. I'm sorry, but I'm VERY sure Shamnesty will pass if the Senate is Dem controlled. It will happen. And even if the House ratio stays the same, it is ALREADY top heavy with Dems and the House will pass it too. Then, with Obama OR McCain, it's "Shamnesty Time". No, I stand by my assessment, we are screwed. No sense in trying to fool ourselves. We need to get serious about it and get out and campaign for GOP candidates that have a hard line on Illegal Immigration. Thinking our phone calls is all we need will bite us in the buttocks.
