Contemplate how long it would take to develop lung cancer. If someone was using it for pain relief with months to live, where is the harm? Atreides doesn't answer questions. He ignores what is said and moves on to more BS and deflection. However, there are enough level heads to prevail. The level heads focus on "make it a medicine". There is no comparison between murder and medical marijuana... or even complete decriminaliztion of marijuana. Smoking pot as medicine or even a street drug is NOT a violent crime perpetrated upon another person resulting in the loss of life. I have been consistent with what I said. I don't have a script to read from... but I have the living history of my life. The way you twisted my words around was to make it sound like I had made arthritis my motivation for having used it and wanting it to become legal. I found out about the arthritis reief after smoking a little bit much later in life... knowing from my history that it used to quiet my racing mind... and found out that it helps with my arthritis. Perhaps it woud shine the light of truth and reason upon you for you to know that 22 years had passed where I didn't smoke any pot at all. In that 22 years I have become arthritic. I also said that I hope this law passes and that I would go get a script for my arthritis. That is because I have no plans to smoke it just for the fun of it... and all of the time. If this law doesn't pass, I won't be buying it on a regular basis at all. I might buy a little here and there for a few weeks, now and then, and then become abstinant again... as I currently am. Wow man... sounds like addiction to me, man. You guys are right. I can be abstinant for a long time without "cravings " or physical symptoms of withdrawal of any kind. OMG - The 1920's called... they want their copy of "Reefer Madness" back... lol. I knew alot of stoners in high school and college... and not one of them has had hallucinations from pot. I've never heard a news study. I've never heard mention of it in college. I've never heard such a thing in the thousands of AA meetings I've been in. I've never read it in the recovery literature I have read... only 5 books, but how many have you read? I've also know 2 scizophrenics... and they never touched the stuff. It was a media personality that leaked Plame's name, innocently enough at a Social Event. Robert Novak knew who it was, but refused to tell... freedom of the press was invoked. That was the origin of the whole fiasco. Almost 6 months later, a propaganda campaign sprang up with the willing accomplices in the Media. I doubt there is an intelligent argument against educating one's self about a particular issue...lol. We can't even get a response from those two when we send them rellevant and substantila evidentiary links. The closest thing offered as an intelligent arguement is that we are going to start killing people and eating them, if we smoke pot. How come there was only ONE Dahmer when millions of people smoke pot? Answer... Pot did not make Dahmer do those horrendous things.
