The Church Fathers did not all canonize the Bible as non-Mormon version states. To assume this is wrong they were not at all of the Eccumenical Councils. The LDS belief, and any belief, in theosis bothers me. If God is sovereign, why make Himself unsovereign by bringing us to His level? Not a god I would worship. Especially after I am at his level. He would then cease to need worshiping. Thus passing off glory. A god who by his nature is not the only one is by definition not God. And is not all powerful, not sovereign over all the universe. No god of mine. My God is all powerful, who doesn't need by worship, but allows me to do so. To fellowship with Him, not to be like Him. To be apart of what He is doing, not for me to be Him. Because I am created by Him, therefore I cannot be as powerful as Him. (May 18, 2008 | post #97)

Are you still being a bigot? You see I believe in a God much stronger than yours. The God of the Bible, who is omnipresent, omniscient, and all powerful, who doesn't need me to be baptized to save me. His grace is only dependent of my acceptance of Him, this is my salvation. He then changes me. Obedience to Him thereafter is choice of my heart. Hopefully, it will be obedient in all things, but as we know it will not. Baptism doesn't change that.
