Bill seeks lower cost of college

This is a bill that has to get passed imo. It is not as important as fixing oil right now, but we do need to lower cost of tuition. Not even 10% can say "college students today are getting their money's worth." http://www.suntime s.com/news/educati on/1022962,CST-NWS -college25.article  (Jul 2, 2008 | post #13)

UConn Trustees Approve $46 Million Deal With Nike

AT & T pledges $100 million to combat school dropout problem

To teaching tolerance: You did see this Washington post article on a high school that forces all students to take the English AP class. It is the first in the nation. http://www.washing tonpost.com/wp-dyn /content/article/2 008/04/13/AR200804 1302211.html?sub=A R  (Apr 18, 2008 | post #9)

AT & T pledges $100 million to combat school dropout problem

Like I say you need a career exploration class for all eighth graders. You need to bring in more "Big Picture Schools" and Early College High Schools into the system. Now AT&T can save 100 million bucks.  (Apr 17, 2008 | post #5)
