Man Arrested, Charged in Abduction and Assault of North Tonawan...

HEPA laws? There is no such thing. HEPA describes an air filter. If it were a hospital and not a school, then perhaps you could cry HIPAA (Health Information Privacy Assurance Act).  (Jun 11, 2008 | post #146)

Man Arrested, Charged in Abduction and Assault of North Tonawan...

Yes Jennifer, but the article said there was NO DNA. Only some sort of evidence 'similiar to DNA'  (Jun 9, 2008 | post #111)

Man Arrested, Charged in Abduction and Assault of North Tonawan...

The only problem here is that the evidence may not exist at all. The report said there was NO DNA evidence. It spoke vaguely of evidence 'sort of like' DNA Remember all the convictions that were tossed when it was discovered that all the testimony on 'matching bite marks' was bogus? Anxiouslly awaiting information on just what this 'evidence' is.  (Jun 9, 2008 | post #110)

Study: Teen Drivers Ignore Cell Phone Laws

Being an electrical engineer, I built a little circut and installed it behind the dome light of the two teen age girls shared Saturn. From that moment on, the car was jinxed and cell phones would not work in it. Pour souls had to pull over and walk twenty paces to get their phones to work. I never did get the chance to remove it so if you see a used 1996 Saturn for sale......  (Jun 9, 2008 | post #18)

Man Arrested, Charged in Abduction and Assault of North Tonawan...

"Evidence similar to DNA" ??? **** is that? The article reads like they picked an odd duck out of the neighborhood and started working towards arresting him. The worst possible way to conduct an investigation.  (Jun 8, 2008 | post #79)

The "Peppy" Problem

AnimalLaw, you demonstrate how little you know about animal care. You additionally display the fact that you are driven by emotion and hysteria. You are attributing your own (read human)sense of what is proper and are ignoring what a dog wants or needs. You are upset at chipboard vs solid wood - This is a human asthetic that would be applied to selecting furniture... not in selecting a material for a dog house. Trust me.. the dog could not care less. You site the notion that the dog relieving itself on a 'rusted grate' is somehow evil. A human would look for rust and find it's appearance undesirable. Trust me.. the dog could not care less if the grate is shiny or rusty. Dogs like to live in dens. In nature it is usually a dug out hole under a downed tree or a small indent in a hill side. To see what a dog would chose, read up on Jakals, Hyenas, Dingos, Wolfs. Dogs like to relieve themselves anyplace more than 3 foot from where they sleep. They like to releieve themselves around their home. The scent sends a message to other dogs that 'this is my territory'. Dogs are pack animals and suffer anxiety when solo and alone. This is the only point you have gotten right so far. The dog would be much happier in the constant presence of humans or another dog.  (Jun 2, 2008 | post #153)

The "Peppy" Problem

Jeesh, grandma in the nursing home is confined to 3ft X 7ft... old dogs live better than old people.  (May 31, 2008 | post #85)

Paterson Orders State Agencies to Recognize Gay Marriage

I agree but take it a step further. Why is the government involved in the marriage business in the first place? Let the ceremonies and celebrations take place in the church , coven, or commune, or wherever. There should not be any special treatment afforded 'married' people. They are just two people who chose to live together.  (May 29, 2008 | post #169)

Remembering Jimmy

Hmm... who is the 'we' that you speak of? Those dollars did not benefit the taxpayers at all. They went into corporate pockets.  (May 29, 2008 | post #29)

Remembering Jimmy

No way! We no longer name arenas after war heros or devout public servants. Naming rites go to the highest bidder. Get it straight. Taxpayers fund the construction, private enterprise reaps the profits (Bills, Sabers, Bisons, etc), and the arena is named after a bank, insurance company, or what have you with the naming rights money going into the pockets of the guy who fleeced the taxpayers to build the stadium in the first place. Pfft.. name an arena or field after a deserving soul? What have you been smoking?  (May 29, 2008 | post #28)

Dr. Williams Withdraws From Memphis Superintent Job Consideration

You are as dense as he. If he really believes that 98 percent feel that way then he should say 98 out of a hundred. GED? Nope. Masters in engineering.  (May 16, 2008 | post #33)
