Church of Sweden commits to same-sex marriages
By "God in heaven" I think you mean bigoted homophobes here on earth. Stop blaming your hatred on nonexistent beings. (Oct 23, 2009 | post #2)
Really? Then why are you trying to escape that responsibilty for what you do? What part of letting someone else be tortured and murdered on your behalf sounds good to youReally? Seriously? I'm not forced to believe? Really?? What's my door prize for not believing in your loving god and his demented plan? Hey Kensey, I have a bazooka pointed right between your eyes. Now, you don't have to do what I say, but there will be a problem if you don't. That's some free will I've given you, isn't itEmpty threats and tautologies are less than meaningless to me. What I believe will in fact change the outcome of something, if I can provide evidence to back it up. Can you back up your statement, or do you just assume that everyone is frightened by the same things you are, and no one will call you on itI get it, your god can do whatever it wants, when it wants, how it wants, and why it wants. Good and evil, right and wrong, they are what your god says they are at any given moment. If your god slaughters an entire world of people, then it must be good, right? It's all subjective and arbitrary. What's moral about that? What would you think of a father that told his son not to do something because it's wrong, and then did the very same thing? Of course you must believe this to justify in your mind the cruelties of the Old Testament, and why life seems so random and often cruel -- not to mention your own prejudices. But concomitant with that is what I said above that. Life is utterly meaningless if your god can take it away at a whim and/or change the rules. The lack of evidence for the existence of your god, and the nonsensical and illogical things that you must dance around to believe in such a creature, is more than enough to convince me that it doesn't exist. However, even if it was somehow real, why the fuck would I want to worship such a capricious and cruel being? Your infantile nonsense only goes to show how far humans will go to convince themselves that they can escape death. Their morals go out the door, and they will justify anything when they are facing the reality of the end of their existence. (Oct 4, 2009 | post #90)
I wouldn't; I would stop it. And then I'd tell him "No thanks, I'm a full grown MAN, I don't need some crazy dude with a messiah complex being tortured and murdered so that I can avoid answering for my "sin." If I have something to answer for, I'll take responsibility for it, like a man is supposed to do." Because you know, I'm a man. Not a sniveling little mouse afraid of it's own shadow that's trying to avoid death. But you would. Otherwise, according to your beliefs, you would go to hell. You would probably tell yourself that you were doing something holy to justify murdering someone on your behalf. (Oct 1, 2009 | post #78)
"Abortion Should Remain Legal" says Prominent 'Conservative' Fr...
You have an unhealthy fixation on "liberals. " You might want to consider professional help before you end up on the evening news. (Sep 29, 2009 | post #6043)
Pain isn't an emotion. It's a debilitating condition that makes many people wish they were dead, and in fact makes many people choose death because of it. How do you figure that starving children in Africa are at fault for their pain? How do you figure that little children deserve to get leukemia, you stupid, stupid child? How do you figure that people are responsible for being born with debilitating pain, you fucking twerp? And how do you figure that you have the capacity to reason with adults? Stick to your pie-in-the-sky Sunday School fairy tales, and leave the adult discussions to the adults. (Sep 27, 2009 | post #98)
He's insane, Nettie, you shouldn't expect him to make any sense. I'm sure in his deluded mind everything is as it should be. (Sep 27, 2009 | post #96)
Religion is a disease of the mind. The cure is reason and rationality. But unlike most diseases, people with this disease don't want to be cured of it. They would rather stay in their comfortable cocoon. (Sep 27, 2009 | post #95)
You are insane and a despicable human being. You have just justified genocide. You are beyond bat shit crazy. (Sep 27, 2009 | post #85)
Racist Glenn Beck refuses to define 'white culture'
He's either insane, or a master showman. And quite frankly I don't care. I avoid crazy people. I don't ask why they are crazy. (Sep 27, 2009 | post #2)

Carrie Prejean Electrifies Conservative Base
Um...if she was such a strong woman, why did she need to get fake titties? Are those values of hers the same values that made her decide that her god didn't give her big enough tits? The same values that made her flash her tits for a photographer in order to further her career? Those values? Give me a break, she's just another media whore that will do or say anything to make her bank. And the ignorant Christian nutters will eat this shit up like it was caviar, so long as she says what they want to hear. (Sep 27, 2009 | post #1)
