Pontoon Boating in Pensacola

Hi Shaun, Congrats on your upcoming move! There are many bays in the Pensacola area. If you're living on the west side, you can choose Perdido Bay, Big Lagoon or Pensacola Bay, or the inlets, rivers and bayous feeding into them. On the east side, there's Escambia Bay, East Bay and the Blackwater river (Milton area) that will offer a variety of scenery and water sports to explore. And yes, there are many skiing and tubing opportunities in the area, and many of the houses for sale or rent include boat docks or convenient public launches nearby. The Intercoastal Waterway also offers a protected area for boating and you can explore the Gulf Breeze and Navarre areas -- going all the way to Ft. Walton Beach, Destin and the Choctawhatchee Bay. I don't know the statistics on the dangerous sea life in the area, but there are always boats on the water during the season, skiers/tubers playing in the bays and bayous and lots of kayakers/canoers, too. Enjoy your move, and if you've not found a place to live yet, let me know if I can help!  (Apr 18, 2011 | post #2)

Pensacola, FL

What area of Pensacola has newer homes and is a good safe...

Congratulations on your upcoming relocation! I think you'll find this area to be a lovely place to live and work. There are many unbelievable deals on property to be had in the entire Northwest Florida panhandle right now, and the West side of Pensacola has some values currently that are even better than most. We work with buyers from around the country (and the world!) helping them in their property searches, and our service as Buyer's Agent is free to Buyers, since Sellers pay the Real Estate Professional Fees. There is a wealth of information and links with information on schools, crime statistics, neighborhoods, etc. on our web site at www.TartanProperti Check it out, and please contact me if I can help answer any specific questions for you. Thanks and Best Wishes! ~ Barbara  (Mar 10, 2011 | post #2)
