Strike Two! for ticket sales

9 million hits does not mean 9 million individual users. The "wait" page refreshed approx. once per minute automatically (when it didn't crash and require a manual refresh.) 100,000 people sitting on the wait page for 90 minutes equals 9 million hits. Easily done by local fans, let alone the stubhub scalpers nationwide looking to make a quick buck. Calling it a "malicious attack" is just a cover for unconscionable incompetence on the part of Paciolan and the Rockies front office.  (Oct 24, 2007 | post #48)
