Israeli drone aircraft

Such a thoughtful response. Thank you for enlightening me.  (Feb 22, 2010 | post #8)

Israeli drone aircraft

Why is Israel being allowed to destabilize the Mideast even more with these new weapons? Did they get the technology for the US or use their spies to steal it, as usual?  (Feb 21, 2010 | post #1)

Cultural Studies: Elizabeth Edwards Teeters on Her Pedestal

Elizabeth Edwards is a classic example of a "Southern Woman". I'm from the west and I'm used to women who can successfully take over the running of a farm or anything else when they need to, and not feel like they have to emasculate any men to do it. When I moved to NC I was not used to level of lies and treachery that is endemic to this culture. And the storied archetype of the southern woman is the most treacherous of all. It does not surprise me to find out that Ms. Edwards is a self-serving, demeaning... ummm... unpleasant person (self-edit). She is just a good example of southern culture in general and good ol' southern womanhood in particular.  (Jan 18, 2010 | post #1)

Ron Paul "They're Terrorists Because We're Occupiers"

I agree with this entirely. What exactly is the basis of the Israeli economy other than US aid and selling the intelligence secrets that their spies steal from us  (Jan 3, 2010 | post #37)

Seems like ole Kent Hance would rather spend money on a criminal like his good friend Alberto Gonzales than a good football coach. I really want to help support my alma mater, but they're not getting a cent from me as long as this trash is going on.  (Jan 2, 2010 | post #1)

Ron Paul "They're Terrorists Because We're Occupiers"

Here's the thing... there is an Islamic civil war going on... they are killing each other. Bin Laden has managed to get the US involved and is using that to attract idiot suicides to his side. The US needs to retrench, protect our own borders, and let the stupid Muslims fight their own civil war. Then we can negotiate with whomever wins and protect our own interests.  (Jan 2, 2010 | post #1)

Pope speaks to Ukrainian pilgrims of 1930s famine

Well, I should know better than to try to be witty on this site. No Canuck, I am not Catholic, nor am I a victim of sex abuse. You should be a little... no a lot, more careful, about using the misfortunes of other people to make your spurious points.  (Nov 24, 2008 | post #6)

Canuck, you sound like one of those guys who wears an aluminum foil hat to keep the aliens from reading his thoughts. A little paranoid?  (Nov 23, 2008 | post #4)

Ukraine government reaffirms withdrawal from PSA with U.S...

I think the Ukr. gov't is absolutely correct to look into this. The energy industry of the US has been shrouded in darkness for years. This is a shady deal at best. Until Vanco can come clean with their entire process, they should be hindered from operating in an industry so important to Ukrainian sovereignty. Maybe Vanco is on the level. But they need to be completely transparent to continue this venture. And so far, they are not.  (Nov 23, 2008 | post #1)

Ukraine blasts German minister for doubting NATO bid. &co...

Well, of course you leave Russia out of such an alliance. Ukraine wouldn't need an alliance if Russia wasn't so aggressive. It would be nice to have a treaty with Belarus, but that isn't happening as long as Lukashenko is in control. But you can form mutual protection pacts with the Baltics, some of the Balkans, Poland, Czechya, Slovakia, Romania, (and yes, little Moldova), some of the Caucasus, some of the 'stans, maybe even Mongolia. That wouldn't be an overpowering alliance, no. But it would make aggression much more costly and that's about the best Ukraine can hope for in the short term. Which is a damn sight better than what they have now.  (Oct 28, 2008 | post #21)

Ukraine blasts German minister for doubting NATO bid. &co...

Very nice... you couldn't have missed my point more completely. I'll put this very simply so you might be able to grasp it... any alliance is better than none at this point for Ukraine. And NATO is not coming through for Ukraine  (Oct 28, 2008 | post #19)

Jury finds Stevens guilty on corruption charges

OK, so they got the senator. Is this guy from VECO Corp. on trial as well? Maybe if we jail some of these lobbyists and corporate types who are handing out all this money to elected officials, we can make a dent in the ubiquitous corruption in our government.  (Oct 27, 2008 | post #5)

Ukraine blasts German minister for doubting NATO bid. &co...

I don't know why Ukraine is still trying to break into NATO. NATO is virtually a non-entity. Just look at how much good it did Georgia. Ukraine should be forging alliances with other Central and Eastern European countries and Central Asian countries. NATO doesn't give a shit about any of them. Ukraine should also be producing armamnents for themselves, instead of letting their thug politicians sell them and pocketing the proceeds.  (Oct 26, 2008 | post #12)
