Magnolia Cafe' in Douglasville

Ok, I am so confused because on Aug 13th there was a post on here saying that the Magnolia Cafe burned down. They're already back up for business 8 days later? So was it a rumor they burned down??  (Aug 21, 2010 | post #210)

mexican food

Monterrey's on Fairburn!!! Great food, great service. My only problem w/them is that it always seems to be hot in there and then when I start drinking their yummo margaritas... whew! And btw the one on Fairburn is totally different from Hwy 5. Yum, I want cheese dip and a margarita now!  (Aug 21, 2010 | post #39)

Cash for Cans

Does anyone know where I can cash in aluminum cans? We started crushing them and bagging them up to recycle, but our trash service doen't offer recycling pick-up (in our area). Then I saw a homeless man on the side of the road the other day collecting then and I wondered where he cashed them in at. Hey, times are tough and if I can get a few bucks from them, that would be great.  (Aug 21, 2010 | post #1)

Synergy on Easter

Most holy and sacred day? Pfftt. Not everyone believes that buddy. So I guess if we are on here stating our opinions and sometimes disagreeing with others we must be unholy and sacreligious. Synergy is right: what are you doing on here on this "most holy day"?  (Apr 6, 2010 | post #16)

Congradulations to Landmark Christian School baseball team

I don't know why spelling and grammar bother me so bad on here; I know it's just a forum. Maybe it was a typo, but it's "congratulati ons", not "congradulati ons".  (Apr 6, 2010 | post #22)

Products I Can't Find

I'm not sure I understand Cedric's comment; is he saying that Lewholt is not intelligent and a butt-whistle because he called Mr. real estate a fucktard? Because butt-whistle is sooo much smarter?? Or is he calling Mr. real estate a butt whistle for the 32 virgin joke? Things that make u go hmmm.  (Apr 1, 2010 | post #31)

Good Chriopractor Near Douglasville?

Does anyone know a good chiropractor near Douglasville? I have degenerative disc disease so I don't trust picking a name out of the phone book. Any suggestions?  (Apr 1, 2010 | post #1)

57 arrests - Rolling Thunder targets drunk drivers in Dou...

I read an article a while ago on fark.com, I wish I could find the link to it. It was in another city and they had a program where these people ran a cab service and hung out at popular local drinking spots tho offer people who have been drinking a ride home. It was really inexpensive, way less than a regular cab. The people were more concerned about getting people home safe and off the streets rather than a huge profit. I think that's a great idea.  (Apr 1, 2010 | post #31)

Opinion on racial animosity here in Douglasville.

Chad, I would agree with others in that you can't take the comments on here as those of the general population. Most of the comments in here aren't even intelligent enough to deserve a post, but it is a public forum. As for myself, I always approach race on a person to person basis. I have both white and black friends (I am white) and I feel that you can't put a label on one race or the other even though there is a majority rule.  (Mar 24, 2010 | post #7)

Sick of this kind of "Black Mentality"

I never understand it when people who have a lot of money like celebrities get arrested for DUI. They can afford to have someone drive them!!! Why do they take a chance on killing innocent people? So stupid. And, no, this is not a race issue. It is NOT profiling. Your son drove under the influence! I hope he gets nailed with a really large fine. And he shouldn't have been let go in a few hours either. Shoulda had to stay the night with the rest of the dumba$$es that got booked.  (Mar 24, 2010 | post #29)
