Charley Walters: Matt Hasselbeck might be a good fit as t...

are you available Chuckie? you would be as good a fit as Hasselback. the last time i checked...the Vikings scheme will be a hybrid...not a total WC offense. anyway...let's just wait and see what happens...in the meantime, if your future articles could focus on NFL cheerleaders and their racks...well that would be much more enlightening...oh and entertaining...GO VIKES!!!  (May 22, 2011 | post #17)

Vikings: Christian Ponder plans workouts with Sidney Rice...

i like it...the kid is all in already. AP...get your a s s down there as well...geez...i'm sure you can afford a plane ticket. i would like to see all of them get involved in this...well...exceptions go to BB...it wouldn't make any difference with him anyway. as for Ronald McKinnie...he probably has another 'racket' on the go, trying to lose a ton to get down to his 'tennis' weight. as others have noted, this kid has smarts and he is a leader...GO VIKES!!!  (May 16, 2011 | post #13)

NFL, players returning to mediation

maybe they need some'meditation' instead of mediation...to think about how freakin lucky the whole blasted lot are, and that it is the fans who are getting the royal root. as i see it...there are 3 problems with this fiasco...1/ greed...2/greed...3/ lawyers...which equates to greed and manipulation. lastly...one judge ruling in favor of the players and another overturning that in favour of the owners...wow...like i never saw that coming. ya gotta love a system ( here in Canada as well); where if you don't like the ruling...just take it somewhere else until you get one in you do like...awwwww the aroma of money...GO VIKES!!!  (May 16, 2011 | post #1)

Vikings draft Iowa defensive tackle Christian Ballard in ...

We didn't draft you to sit down," Frazier said. "We want you to come in with the attitude that you're competing to start. Don't come in saying I just want to make the team. That doesn't help our football team." that's what i wanted to hear...no more complacency or free rides (hear that BB and Venus McKinnie)...if they are just happy to be there: we don't need em...unload their sorry asses...give em hell Les and GO VIKES!!!  (May 1, 2011 | post #50)

Minnesota Vikings draft quarterback Christian Ponder

wow...didn't see this coming. if Gabbert had been there at 12, i might be a little less nervous...but CP...i think Mayock said it best: "Spielman and Ponder are tied at the hip with this pick"...i hope it works...at any rate...welcome to Minne CP...GO VIKES!!!  (Apr 28, 2011 | post #29)

Are Vikings targeting a QB at No. 12, after all?

you're all wrong...they're going to sign TJ to a 5 year contract, with Webb as a backup...then use the 12th pick to draft a loooonnnnnggggg snapper...that's gives us 2 mobile QB'S and someone who can do something with the ball...the rest of the pieces will fall into place and we are SB bound...buurrppp...GO VIKES!!!  (Apr 26, 2011 | post #11)

Vikings' Bryant McKinnie taking tennis lessons from Venus...

what...because others don't think 'exactly' like you do, that you think you're the only one awake...give it a rest. Webb has nothing to do with anything i posted, nor for that matter, many of the other posts who mentioned the draft options. as i posted many times last season, i fully believe Webb deserved to be give every shot to compete, and i stand by that. having said that, unlike you in your infinite wisdom, i do not think that anyone should be "given" the QB job, just because one person (see Klink)thinks he is the be all end all. now it's Easter Sunday, be nice and go hunt for some eggs...geez...GO VIKES!!!  (Apr 24, 2011 | post #42)

Vikings' Bryant McKinnie taking tennis lessons from Venus...

agree..not sure which one in the draft would be a good pick (should they do it)...all seem to have qestion marks, but then again, that goes with the territory...it's a roll of the dice no matter. personally, i do not want to see them get McNabb. if they do this and grab one later on, thinking he can sit and learn behind McN...now that will be reaching. i do believe in taking the best player available (regardless of position), when they are on the clock. of course, that too can be a moot point, unless these overpaid owners and whiners get their crap together. just the same can't wait for the 28th. i also think that the Vikes won't be as horrible as many believe. keep the faith Eric...GO VIKES!!!  (Apr 24, 2011 | post #34)
