My understanding is that no one has been able to get financing yet...I don't think it has to do with people here having no $$$$$$..Pizza Inn always has a good crowd, Bigos and Cozumel do well and so on and so....many from here drive to Rolla to eat because we have no steak house...the new Coltons is fantastic and no more expensive than a buffet for 2 at Pizza Inn...You have to acquire the business before you can get a liquor license...since Cozumel get one I am sure if anyone buys Stephens they can get one too. I hear what you are saying...I have been inside the jail to visit female inmates. It is horrible. The commode is out in the open in the cell. Roll up mats in the floor if it gets too full.I am sure the men's cells are the same....This town DESPERATELY needs a new jail. Sadly, if for no other reason than to house all the inmates.I think we could do without all these sidewalks being put everyone and build a new jail (Dec 15, 2010 | post #85)

what an idiot you are to suggest that nothing like this does not happen in other small towns. Yes, we do have a wonderful "little" town where bad things happen as in all towns and cities. If the police in Rolla were forced to shoot at him ...why was he not still in jail? Andrea was a beautiful and very sweet young woman who did not deserve to die such a horrible death..My deepest sympathy and prayer for her little sister and all of her family.
